Sky Network Threatens: No BSG, LOST or 24? Oh noes, Sky, the cable channel that brings Lost, 24, and Battlestar Galactica to subscribers in the UK, has threatened to pull it's product from the Virgin Cable network. There has been a long-standing fued between them, with Sky going so far as to prevent a Virgin/ITV merger recently. Sky officials are demanding nearly double the rate they have previously received for their product, according to Guardian Unlimited. They claim that the increase is necessary to make up for lost advertising revenue of nearly ninety million dollars (forty five million pounds).
