NBC Universal has announced plans to roll out an all-horror digital cable network called Chiller. The channel will launch in 12 million DirecTV Homes on March 1. NBC is also pitching the channel to other cable operators in an attempt to have as many carriers as possible for the new network.
NBC Universal has a nice supply of horror-themed material already in the vault, and Chiller is sure to make use of such shows as Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Shining, Tales from the Crypt, and Psycho. Jeff Gaspin, president of cable entertainment, digital content, and cross-network strategy for NBC U, said they have also acquired material from 20th Century Fox TV, Sony, Warner Brothers TV, and Lionsgate.
Most of these would fall under the scifi channel...what will the effect be on the scifi channel now?

I doubt anything. It's just another thing. And, Sci-fi channel can be picked up by everyone. This channel's got alot more years and building to actuallly get anywhere NEAR like Sci-fi.
LOGO the all Gay channel is mainly on satalite. Not cable. -shrugs- This will be the same. Although I'll definetly be checking it out because Ihave Direct Tv *Grins*.
