I like: the James Bond Movies, Alex Rider and XXX: The Next Level. There are more but I don't have time to say them all

I like action films but I don't like the whole XXX or Fast and Furious. It's just to see explosion's and such blow up. Reminds me of some of the old 80's films but with less fun and less style. I mean Die Hard the first one's not much to it but it's kinda fun and there is something there thta is just fun to watch.
It's all nothing and nothing really to say behind it. I like the Bourne films and yes some of the James Bond films.
I like John Woo as far as action and directing goes. He's the director of Face/Off and Broken Arrow, Paycheck and MI-2. Although he didn't edit MI2 at all. So can't really fault him.
But, his films when they call for action there really cool. Face/Off is his best American film. The Killer's or Hard Broiled is really his best Asian film. Which if your parents will let you watch should check it out. Although there pretty bloody.
Jerry Brockheimer doesn't go wrong when wanting action in the films he produces. Even Gone in 60 second's while first half's kinda boring the second's where it really shines.

That is part of the fun with Kill Bill . It's so over the top can't help but laff at it. He wants you to lol. Oh and I like Big Epic's too. Like Kingdom of Heaven, and Gladiator. King Aurther's not bad although was pretty good. Alexander sucked. Wasn't good at all. Mess of a film. Some war films are pretty cool. Thin Red Line have to see that one kinda multiple times to get. Even though I don't really call it like that. Windtalker's thought was a misstep. Saving Private Ryan was one of the best. Oh and if you can get Kingdom of Heaven the Directer's cut. It's soooooooooooooooooooooooo much better then the theatrical. Also too that is Edward Norton who plays the King behind the mask. He's not credited for it though.

That is BETTER! Ridley had that movie at almost or a bit of 3 hours long. That is why the theatrical is like al ong trailer. The director's cut actually puts in more performances and more story. It fleshes everything out. Lots have said that it would have if they had put the director's cut in the theatres it would have been hailed as a classic and not like it was.

ooh thanks Aaron, will have to hunt me out a copy * nips off to try and locate one now* Welcome and also just to let you know the films on 2 discs while the other 2 are bonuses . Although the theatrical cut that has that diagram and such..that isn't on the bonuses. so if you like that. maybe if can find a pretty cheap verison pick it up. I'v seen both and it's interesting to compare. The director's not like Gladiator the extended where you can compare each film. It's just the director's cut.
