O.k, I'm going to warn you right now, my family is a huge Simpson's fan, so expect a slightly bias review. First of all, it was funny. very funny. The kind of humor that made it so popular in the first place. It was like watching a really long episode, but if you're a fan, who cares. It begins with a prophecy by Grandpa Simpson about a horrible fate for the town. (actually, it begins by Homer complaing about the fact that he's watching a movie about a show that he could be watching at home for free), and from there takes you on a journey, that at times kinda shocked me. They writers created a story that made us see the characters grow as beings (I know,I know, but I dont' know how else to put it), and they had them doing things that you would never see on t.v. That in itself was worth it. In the end, it's prue Simpson gile that saves the day (or stupidity, which ever way you want to look at it), and I wouldn't be surprised if some of this carried over into the new season. This movie made me laugh so hard I cried, but like I said, I'm a die-hard Simpson fan so that was predictable. There was also one scene that brought sad tears to my eyes (no, don't worry, no one dies). A bonus for fans was the credits, where you got to see what voice actor did what voice. If you like the Simpsons, I highly recommend going to see it. Trust me, it's worth it.

Great Review Rell, ya know.. I kind of think they got the whole pig thing from Naruto. But eh oh well. A problem I've always had with the Simpsons is that the writers and drawers should have made them all a little older by now. Heck its like the 14th season now!

Actually, I think they've been doing it for 18 years. That's longer than J.K. Rowling's been in Potter World.
The fact that they haven't aged I think is one of it's charms. Although it would be interesitng to watch them as they grow older, maybe not so much wiser. Who knows.

*sings* spider pig...spider pig.....I love that part....I havent seen the movie and will most likely wait till video...but I remember when the Simpsons came out...it is amazing how they are still going strong...and I too think it would be interesting to see how they turned out, but I think that should be left for the finale of the show...
