[green] Well, considering I made a list for crappy movies, it only stands to reason that I should make a list for the good movies I've seen.[/green][/i] [pink]RV North Country Flight of the Navigator Click The Lake House Premonition [/b][/i][/pink]

This is a good movie. It apparently got a Raspberry Award for being the worse movie of the year. Must be from the same people who liked Napolian Dynomite.
This movie brings back Robin Willians as the comic genius that he is. He's a little older now, more calmer, but hasn't lost any of what makes him funny. There was no foul language, no sexual inuendos, a perfect G movie.

[pink]NORTH COUNTRY.[/pink][/u][/i]
Set in the late 70's/early 80's ( I think) it's about a single mother who starts working in a mine along with a small group of women. What they experience from the male workers of the mine sends her to hire a lawyer and take the entire business to court on charages of sexual harrasment.
This is based on a true story, and it just surprises me how ignorant people were back then. The motto "Shut up and take it like a man"
I would suggest all women watch this show, especially younger girls. Let them see what life was like for their mothers and grandmothers growing up and trying to make their way in the world. Not as easy as it is now.

Sweet reviews. And as for the williams movie getting that award, they must not like good quality humor.

[pink]FLIGHT OF THE NAVIGATOR.[/pink][/u][/i]
I had completly forgotten about this movie until an elderly woman that goes to my husbands church gave our son a DVD.
What a great movie. My son just loved it. From the special effects of the ship taking off, to the korney child-like dialoge between the ship and the little boy. I even laughed through it. It was also funny to see a movie withough personal computers, cell phones and xbox's.
A very simple yet entertaining movie.

Not what I expected for a Adam Sandler movie, but very good none-the-less. It's original, with a moral to it.
Imagine what it would be like if you could fast-forward your way through life. All the crap you would miss, like traffic, being sick, arguments with your better half. so that after awhile the remote would programs itself by how you use it, so it would automatically fast-forward you through all the rough spots. Sounds good eh?
But what if those rough spots took a few years to get over?

[pink]THE LAKE HOUSE[/pink][/i][/u]
This is a chick flick. And a good one at that. It was refresing to see Keanu Reeves do somehting other than sci-fi or action hero. To my amazement, he can really act.
The story is a little confusing at first, but it is based around a romance that blossoms between Kate and Alex. One hitch, Alex exixts two years in the past. But that doesn't mean that they don't run into each other. On the contrary. There are several times when they cross paths in Alex's time. Yet Kate doesn't realze it until she starts talking to him.
As I said before, Chick Flick, and make sure you have lots of kleenex. This one will make you cry.

Hey Rell should check out Somethings Gotta Give if you haven't -nods lots-. He plays the love interest to Diane Keaton isn't bad in it. More co-star though.

[pink]PREMONINTION[/pink][/u][/B]
I like Sandra Bullock. From the first movie I saw her in, up until present, I have liked every movie she's ever made. Including the bad ones.
This is not a bad one.
This is a suspense thriller that constatlymakes you wonder what the heck is going on. There isn't any freakiness that's behind it, just one very simple premise-that love is something to work on and cherish. I can't really tell you any more than that. The plot gets rather complicated, but make sense in the end. A tear jerker for sure, and the ending didnt happen the way I thought.
Sometimes things are just meant to be. And you can't change them no matter what.

It's surprising to see The Lake House on someone's Good Movie list, many people hated it and never gave it a chance because of the chick flick thing. It was really good though. It has some timeline bugs and, though I predicted what the obstacle between their meeting was, I still liked it
