If there were ever two people who were the epitomy of selfishness, then it would have to be my sister-in-law and my step-daughter. These two only think of themselves, and their greed knows no bounds or shame.
My sister-in-law has paid for a ticket to go to Cuba. Not a crime, I'll admit that, but who has 2 grand for a vacation this soon after Christmas? Not to mention that she tried to 'borrow' money from her parents just before Christmas. So if she's crying poor to her parents, why is she going on a vacation! Oh, did I mention that she's going with people she works with and not her husband and children? How she could even entertain a thought of going on such an expensive vacation without her family is beyond me. I hope she gets busted in Cuba.
My step-daughter comes in a close second in this competiton. She has decided to leave her father a 16 thousand dollar school loan. She has no intentions of paying one single dime towards it. She used the money to fly to U.K and live with her 37 year old boyfriend. We don't even hear from her and she has not replied to any of my emails. No, I didn't send her nasty ones, that's her fathers job. ANd he's already sent her three.
Happy New Year.

Oh Rell what a pair...your sister in law sounds just like mine, she split from her partner when her kids were 2 & 6 , she stopped paying the mortgage on her house (even though her X gave her a cheques every month with enough money to pay it) and as a result she was evicted by the mortgage company...sooooo crying hard up she went to live with her mother .....a few weeks after moving in she then went on a Holiday to Spain with her friends, how we asked could she afford to do that but not afford to keep a roof over her head....

-shrugs- My Mom and her b/f use to go on cruises and not take me. Was VERY expensive. But that was basically because he wanted "there time". Which is..was very important to him. So I guess territorial thing? lol

It did. I love My grandmother to death and yes it's not pretty and our deals isn't. Neither is the case with my mom. But, I didn't like having to be shelved over here at my Grandmother's place as a kid during the summer and then them calling me up and jumping at me because couldn't get a job or what not. Never did totally work out. So yeah. It was never pretty with him. He was the reason why I left. He cussed me out one afternoon and mom wouldn't listen to it. She has a bad habit of just letting other people taking care of things. She'll wig and then it's up to whomever and how ever. That was deadly with him. Because, by then generally the niceness came off and the pitbull that is or was below would come out. But yeah it's in the past. I have family members that are 40 year olds that are still not over there mom and you can see it. I don't want to be like that. Life's way to short and well I don't know.

My mother-in-law got an email from my step-daughter yesterday, and she sent it to me and well, lets just say that by the time I was done reading it I wanted to hop on a plane to the UK and personally beat some sense into her head. I was so mad that I called her mother (hubby's ex) and yelled at her for 20 minutes! So I sent off an email first thing this morning telling this brat what the family thought of her, what I thought of her, and what she can do. This is just the beginning. And people wonder why I dye my hair.
