Charlie nodded and exited the room to the bar and walked pointedly right up to the female cats. Bowing his head, he spoke in a clear voice, showing he was truely sorry. "I am sorry for my behavior and transgressions. Do with me what you will."

"What, no explination kitten?"
The venom in Sabbath's voice, was VERY clear. Angel jsut refused to speak. If she opened her mouth, she knew she'd kill him. Sabbath understood and spoke for the both of them.
"As you can see, I am not, in fact the more dangorus of the two of us. You better thank your lucky stars Angel gives you the cold shoulder boy. But doing with you as we will. You sould know better. You've got a lot more to atone to before either of us can do anything to you...Ah, there is the signal form Hurc. Angel..shall we?"
While this was going one Hurc was speaking to Vincent.
"De turned you down? Ha I saw that comming. Well fine then, you have my approval, which willhelp you out. Conditional of course. That damn kitten jsut walked in here, and let me tell you now. If you irk, annoy, upset, irritate, of make her emotions even remotely negative in the slightest way, I'll ter you apart before you have any idea that you upset her in the first place. Now go talk to Jason, I'm of no help to you right now."
He rose and signaled to Angel and Sabbath, and all three made theri way over to Demon, where they all four sat in a circle, staring at eachother, not moving, communicating mentally.

That went as expected. Charlie wasn't sure if he liked that or not. All he could do was start the game and put the ball in their court.
That left the males plus one tempramental vampire to deal with. Sucking in a breath, he resigned himself. Personally he was glad Angel was giving him the cold shoulder. Secretly, he ahd never been fond of her for no reason he could pin point, most likely basic animal instinct. He had never been one for human females with that personality either.
Walking over to the men, he spoke simply, "Hey." and let them take it as they would. The only way to really manage this and not come out with a headache or an overwhemling want to commit suicide would be to play it as a game. Not out of disrespect for the others, but as an insurance that he would remain sane and have a clear mind through it all. It was a trial, and one had to have a clear head for a trial.

Nate decided to speak up before Will could launch himself on a tirade. Extending a hand, he said, "Hello, I'm Nathan White, a friend of Will's." He let out a toothy grin, revealing his species as he spoke. "Will tells me you're an old friend?"
Grinding his teeth together, Will wanted to launch on Charlie and maul his face, but decided to let the boy speak and give him a chance to explain himself. Then he'd make sure, if he was still angry, to get first dibs on the werecat before throwing him to the minions.

Charlie found his lips turning into a smile despite the gravity of the situation. Nathan was very infectous. "Ah...something like that," he said. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Charles, but everyone calls me Charlie." He glanced past Nate for a moment at Will as though to say "I'm not avoiding you."
Will would get the explination straight up naturally. The cats he knew liked to pow wow amongst themselves so he had given them an offer to bleed him dry and then go talk out their descisions. The cubs would wait for their return.
"I was unable to return for a very long time," he stated, keeping his gaze on Will. Like Alexia, he felt no need to lower his gaze or bow to the vampire. He would not show weakness to either humanoid. "I left due to childish fear, and have been searching for this place for a long time."

"Childish fear?" Will asked, curious as to what he had been afraid of. "What exactly do you mean?"
Nate was curious. He figured he could use this opportunity to take notes, but kept his face calm so that Charlie wouldn't figure out that he was additional competition in the race to win Alexia's affection. If Will hadn't written this chapter of the book yet, Nate figured he would help him do so in the future.

"Ah....I guess you could call it cold feet," Charlie sighed. "It's really embarrassing, but I woke up and felt like....I don't know, but I thought that it would be better to disappear, to let her be free from a mortal or some nuts like that. It was stupid."
He leaned against the bar. He knew Nate was watching him, but he could care less. The kid might be nice, but he was weird. "So I got caught by some ornithians, and by the time I got away from them, the way through the forest and to the tavern was hidden again."

"You chickened out, eh?" Will said, smirking. "And now you've come to grovel for mercy." Will said to Nate, telepathically, "Never show cowardice in front of Alexia. Fear, sure, if it's reasonable. But never cowardice. She despises that above most else, save liars."
"Lemme guess, it's in the chapter called 'Alexia Despises Cowardice Above All Else, Save Liars'?" Nate asked sarcasticly.
"No, it's in the chapter, 'She Already Has a P*ssy, She Doesn't Need Another One'." Will said, trying to keep his face stony, despite Nate's bursting out in laughter.

"I don't want to know whatever you said to him," Charlie sighed, waving a hand through the air. At least he hadn't died. He knew he wasn't off the hook.

With a smirk, Will said, "No, you don't, and you wouldn't find out even if you did." Lighting another cigarette and crossing one leg over the other, pulling his ckirt down so no one could see up it, he said. "So what are you going to do to make me get over it? I know that's what Alexia told you to do, get all of our approval before she would forgive you."
"Remember, to get to the Goddess, you have to get through her minions and me first. It's detailed in chapters two and three, 'You Don't Have a Chance Until You're on the Good Side of Hurc, De, Sabbath, Angel, and the Cubs' and 'Will: Vampire, Author, Bro-Ha', respectively."

"Honestly? I really don't know." Charlie did not let his gaze waiver from Will. "Actually, I don't blame you if you never forgive me, but I'm willing to work to reclaim some form of approval." He wasn't looking for overwheming praise, just some form of positive acknolwegement. He wasn't sure what Alexia wanted. Sadistic pregnant dog probably would want more than just that, but Charlie could deal with that.

"You've got a lot of work to do," Will said, innerly cursing his readiness to forgive. He was almost ready on the spot, but wouldn't let himself say it. "This will be the second time you've had to regain my favor, after what you did to me all those years ago." In Tavern time, it had been 100 years, when he could tell it had only been one year to Charlie, and only about twenty years to Will, with all of the realm-travel had had been doing lately. So no matter what side of the fence you were on, it had been a while since Charlie had done his evil deeds to Will.

"Well I wouldn't want you to forgive me instantly anyway," Charlie stated. "I'm willing to work for it. I should work for it." His eyes gave away that this wasn't just pandering or good words for the sake of staying on Will's good side either. Charlie was a good boy even if he was confused at times or did dumb ass things. He knew that what he had done to Will was very minor and it had been a very long time since he had crossed the vampire so mending fences with Will looked to be easier than the other people he had to amend, but that didn't mean it would necessarily be easy, just in perspective it would be easier than the tohers.

"We'll see," the vampire said, sipping his WRSOTR. "It'll take some time." Motioning to a seat near him, Will said, "Do you want to have a drink now, or rush back into the lion's den?" he asked.
Nate inwardly rolled his eyes. Will was forgiving and hospitable, yes, but it was odd how, beneath that, he still was neither gullable or a pushover. The younger vampire just assumed that it had taken centuries to acheive that mindset, though Will had been that way even in mortal years.

Charlie looked over at the cats nearby and sighed. "I think I'll have a glass of water. They seem to still be in discussion. I want this to go as well as it possibly can, and itnerrupting them would just f**k me over more than I'm already f**ked." He magicked up a glass of water and downed it. He knew the cats enough to know when they were deep in conversation. When he thought he could interrupt and try again, he would. "I also have to talk to Hurc sometime too."
