IC:
In the middle of a dark magical woods known as The Forest of Realms, is a tavern. The sign on the door says The Mystic Tavern in silver letters. To the right of the building, about 50 yards away is a huge lake. You open the door to the tavern and directly across from you is a row of booths with windows above them. To your left, a bar in the shape of an L. A Girl with long blonde hair is the tender. She looks about seventeen. Her name is Alexia. She is a goddess.
At the far end of the bar, a giant house cat lays on top of it, nearly asleep. Behind the girl on a shelf is a picture of a big brown dog sitting in front of the bar, on watch, withthe girl behind him loking at the camera. In a booth across ther oom form the door, and white bengal tiger lays, faceing the door. And across the room from the bar? A fireplace, with a winged back chair on either side, an oval rug in front, and a black panther dozing in the heat. Two tiger cubs, and black panther cub, and two kittens (clearly twins) run around eachother, and throughout the tables, they are all aboutthe size of a fully grown lynx. Directly on the door’s right, are the stairs leadig to the rooms for rent on the second floor.
Many random dark creatures are sitting about the place. many came to meet friends. Many others came to black market deals across the Realms of existance. Alexia didn't care. She only cared when one put a hole in her tavern.

Dark green light flashed outside. A figure in dark green and black leather garb appears. She has a sword at her left side held in a black frog with silver skulls buckles to attach the straps that hold it to her belt next to her variety of pouches. There is also a matching dagger at her right side. It also matched her hidden boot daggers.
Her grey eyes scan the unfamiliar place as she pushed her long red hair out of her face allowing her to see that she was in a forest. Not exactly her intent, but it would do. As long as she could get away. Turning to her left, she noticed a tavern with The Mystic Tavern written on it in silver letter. She had the option of entering to meet whatever could be inside, and a with a tavern in the middle of no where, they'd be no telling what that was. Or she could turn and wonder into the forest. There was even more chance of their being something she didn't want to meet that way.
Not really having a good choice either way, she decided she might as well enter the tavern. Going forward, she pushed the door open and stepped inside.
It was a pretty nice place. But she wasn't sure how safe it was. At the bar was a girl with long blonde hair. She looked young, not that she herself was that old, but the blonde girl seemed much younger. Though, experience had taught her that appearances could be more than deceiving. There also seemed to be many felines around the place, and she wondered just how tame they were.
After taking the place in, and being happy to find she hadn't been killed as soon as she stepped through the door, she made her way to the bar to order a drink.

Alexia saw the new commer enter her tavern and approach her at the bar. She jerked her head up in acknowledgement.
"Hey, welcome to my Mystic Tavern. I'm the owner and bar tender, Alexia. What can I do for you?"

Gildrad comes out of the shadows. He leads his Tall black horse to a nearby post and ties her up. He had seen the dragon. It was all he could think about. The dragon. That great best with silver scales and a long neck armed with Spikes as tall as a man. The dragon. He checked to make sure his quiver hadnt emptied any arrows, and made sure his box was strapped down. Medilena had the tendency to wander while she was tied up, and it wasn't the first time he had lost a well strung box to her idle trampling. He approached the Tavern, the one he had visited three days ago. He remembered the Master there, a woman with amazing ability. He was curious, and even thirstier.
He walked into this Mystic Tavern, and found the master, remembering her as Alexia, at the bar speaking to a stranger. He stood about 6' 3" tall, with brown curly hair almost to his soldier, a small nose, emphasized cheek ridges, and a beard with a mustache. He was covered with silver armor, over chain-link mail. He was heavily armored, and though his armor had shine it was obviously battle worn and even more curiously, burned. He had a long sword on his left leg, kept in a sheath which was worn leather. It had a hilt made of steel, and a magnificent green gem on the point. He surveyed the area, seeing those cats he saw on his last visit. This was a truly amazing place. He continued on to the bar and decided to see the marvels of Alexia once more.
"Grettings, Alexia. I would like a Root Beer, and a tall one with froth at that."
He looked at the stranger, noticing her as a female, with beautiful red hair. She seemed alarmed and overly cautious, as he would have been if he wasn't so depleted from his hunt. He decided to think of her as a possible threat, but he was so famished that he wouldn't have been able to fight anyway.

OOC: A quick nots for you Voltage...alexia's minions are the panther and tiger sized cats and large brown dog and "cubs" all mentioned in the first post....thats all no lil demons and such, lol. jsut as an FYI.
IC:
Alexia smiled frostily at the man she precieve to become a common sight in her bar...especially since he was after a dragon under the protection of the Forest of Realms...he wouldn't be finding the dragon any time soon. He was about two inches shorter than her own 6'5" and he had fairly good looks. She waved a hand and a root beer appeared before him.
"You look hungry, want some food homie?"

Gildrad took a gasp. It was simply magic! He began to think a bit, perhaps Alexia knew about the dragon? Surely someone who could work such wonder would be aware of something so fierce. He dismissed though, he was exhausted form the hunt. It almost seemed like something was working against him, keeping him from completing his task. These problem are for another day.
"Yes, I would enjoy some food, Whatever you have that has meat. I am Gildrad of the Southern Kingdom, you must have mistaken me for this 'homie'. I thank you for your welcome and I must compliment you on your tavern. Have you been here long? You look far younger than one would expect from such a well established manor."
He sits back and realizes that his horse is unfed. He decides it is too late, and if he doesnt eat he wont be alive to feed her. She will wait till morn.

Alexia laughed.
"Homie is a slang term to indicate a perso who you're talking to. I know who you are, you've been here before. As for food, it comes up the same way the drink do, so what do you want that I can get you."
He looked half dead and in no condition to think...
"Here, try this..."
Alexia barely waved her hand and a large plate with a nice uicy T-bod appeared, sided wiht two baked patatoes and a bowl of salad. Several bottls of salad dressing were also there.
"Eat it all. A hearty meal of meat and potatoes you may need, but greens are what will fresen your mind, and you are not to move from the spot until its all gone....oh I almost forget...."
A tall glass of milk appeared too. It was so cold it was frosty....
"Drink that too."
Alexia walked away to serve someone on the ther side of the tavern, she didn't bothr to tell him the food nad drink thing only wokred for people she actaully taught to do it. She returned a few moments later.
"Now you asked me a question..lets see....I'm sixteen thusand seven hundred.....give or take a few centuries...my twin brother and I accidently created the Forest of Realms (the forest we're in now) at ten....the the F.O.R. is about the same age as myself..And I started that Mystic Tavern when I was about thirteen hundred...it was destroyed when I was fifteen thousand and I dind't rebuild the new one until I was almost fifteen-thousand and three hundred....and thats the one you're in now.....so um lets see...I think to answer you question I'm way older than you, and my tavern has been arund longer than your grandmother.....hahahahaha..."

Alexia laughed. "Homie is a slang term to indicate a perso who you're talking to. I know who you are, you've been here before. As for food, it comes up the same way the drink do, so what do you want that I can get you." Gildrad heard her ask him what he desired to eat. He was going to ask for something interesting, but he spaced of with many questions. Why did the dragon seem covered with water? Could it be that some sort of magic is involved? He nodded his head some direction and realized he was being rude. Before he could say anything she said 'here try this' and suddenly he saw quite the meal before him. A strange looking meat, very well prepared and looking very tender. This was royal food, but he wasnt going to bother. He saw a strange food, (potatoe) which he had not even seen yet. Perhaps she was royal! He started to eat, more like attack the meat and tried some of the strange food. (true to medieval times he eats with his hands, and the sight of his manners can only be compared to a dog suddenly finding itself with opposable thumbs and attacking a bowl of meat after watching it being cooked in front of him for 3 days.) He also noticed green vegetables, and decided to throw those into his frenzy. Quite the sight for Alexia, seeing how her tired knight has suddenly turned into an eating machine and waht looks like a green/white/meaty bundle of food in front of him. *after eating* The Knight runs over in his mind, tired it may be but fed, what she told him. Now you asked me a question..lets see....I'm sixteen thusand seven hundred.....give or take a few centuries...my twin brother and I accidently created the Forest of Realms (the forest we're in now) at ten....the the F.O.R. is about the same age as myself..And I started that Mystic Tavern when I was about thirteen hundred...it was destroyed when I was fifteen thousand and I dind't rebuild the new one until I was almost fifteen-thousand and three hundred....and thats the one you're in now.....so um lets see...I think to answer you question I'm way older than you, and my tavern has been arund longer than your grandmother... That is quite a history, but he still doesnt grasp how old she is. He mostly regards the years as a foreign way of time tellings, but still she describes events which would put any manor out of its misery unless she was very wealthy. He suddenly realized she said she created the forest. This must mean she has maps! "Alexia, that was a fine meal, but did you happen to say you planted this forest? Im in need of a map, somewhere in my journey today I suddenly became lost, and I wish to continue my quest. I can pay you in silvers, or swear a debt."

Alexia trew her head back and laughed. She laughed so hard that she had to start levitating a bit, or risk falling to the floor and hitting her head. She laughed for what felt like an etrnity but was only a minute or two. When she finally calmed down, her feet back on the floor she smiles at him, very amused.
"Wow, I havn't had such a newbie around here in a century, at least. OKay, I'm going to try and explain this so you can get a slight understanding of the Forest of Realms. Kay?"
She thought for a moment on how to explain this, then spoke.
"The Forest of Reamls was never...planted. It was created. You see...My brother Juston and I wer fighting one day...we couldn't ahve been older than ten (years not centuries) old. I don't remember what he did, but he mad me mad and I proceeded to chase him. He grew tired of me anticipating his every move and showing up in areas of the castle that he was going to hid, so he took our chase to the realms instead. He'd dissapear into one realm, and I'd follow right behind him. Finally I caught him. Well, tackeled him really and we went rolling. I tried to drag him to one realms and he tried pulling us into another and a sort of rip in the realms occured and we wound up falling and landing in this very spot here in the Forest of Relams.
The Forest is like....well....imangine millions and millions of roads and they all come to meet at the exact same place, at a crossroads,a nd when your in the middle of said crossroadds you can get to any other road you like. Thats what the Forest is, its a cross roads of the realms. It decided when new people enter its boundries and when they leave for the first time....of course once you've left you can come back, but if the first time you leave is by your own accord...good luck getting back in.
The Forest is a living breathing being with a mind of its own. Everything about it changes excent for the things within a ten mile radious of its center, which is where this tavern is. There are no maps except for ones of the sourrounding area...that is, things within a ten mile radious of the tavern. This includes the lake, the mountian on teh otehr side of the lake, and the village at the foot of the mountian that you can see across the lake. Other than that the only map you're going to get is me or my twin brother, seeing as we're connected to all of the Forest, and instinctivly know all about it when and if it changes and how, things like that. And trust me, its always changing."
Hurc had been laying in front of the bar and sat up looking at his mistress.
"Thats a long winded answer."
"Well if I didn't explain it all to him now I'd have to answer stupid questions that would confuse him and take even longer you silly dog."
"Alright, okay, whatever floats your boat, but he might need a vodka after that answer."
"Oh go lay down you old coot!"
Hurc tunred around once and lay back down, keeping a strict eye on the goings on in the tavern, and Alexia tunred back to the knight, waiting for a reply.

Vincent Valentine was making his first visit into these dark woods, coming off a battle against some creature he's never encountered before. With wounds all over his body, mostly on his arms and legs, he decided to try and find somewhere to rest and heal his broken body. With his trusty gun "Death Penalty" on one side, and a back up pistol on the other, Vincent started to check his surroundings.
Luckily for him, he didn't have to look or walk much longer before he saw a small building in the distance. He smiled as he saw it, glad to finally be able to rest, and if they refused, he wasn't afraid to pull his gun on them for some food and sleep, or even turn into one of his 4 demon forms if it was necessary.
As he got closer, the building grew in size, where he saw a sign with an arrow pointing towards the building labeled "The Mystical Tavern". Vincent smiles after reading the sign.
[glow=red,2,300]Vincent Valentine: Phew, now I can rest and have a drink or two.[/glow]
Vincent walks up to the door and quickly pushes it open, his arm struck with extreme pain suddenly as he makes his way in. He looks around to see a couple people, most at one table talking to each other, then turned his attention the beautiful bartender, but not caring too much about what she looked like, as long as she'd let him rest somewhere.
He walked upto the bar, and looked at the woman, making his words brief and simple.
[glow=red,2,300]Vincent Valentine: I need a room.[/glow]

Alexia turned to look at her new customer, her hair swirling around her face as she gave him a matter of fact smile.
"Rooms are two gold pieces a night, or free for a measured amount of time providing a favor is provided."

Vincent sighed, he had no time for any useless favors, and he knew he had no gold pieces. He spent them all trying to buy potions for the creatures, but those didn't work out too well. He sighed again, deciding he had no choice.
[glow=red,2,300]Vincet Valentine: Fine, I'll do one of these favors, as long as I can sleep first, or at least bandaged. What do you need done?[/glow]

Alexia raised her eyebrows rather amused.
"Fiesty, arn't we? Yes I usually do permit the room to be taken befor ehte favor is done, worry not. As for the favor, I'll have to think on it."
She meerly glanced at the counter adn a silver, old fashioned loking key appeared. In the side of it engraved in beautiful crusive was "Ten".
"Room number ten, upstairs, first hallway on your right. The rooms have bathrooms, with hot and cold running water and with basic soap and shampoo, I like me patrons clean, thank you. If yu preferr a scented soap, we have all you could want jsut ask and it will be brought up to you. Food and drink are always free, and unless there is no one behind the bar, food and drink are ALWAYS available."

Vincent nodded, appreciating her assistance and little explanation of everything in this tavern. He took the key and started to walk towards the rooms when he saw a tall glass comepletely filled, as he took it from the guy who was about to drink it. He quickly chugged it as he made his way to room 10 before the man could even realize what happened.
After a quick cleansing of all the dried blood on his body, Vincent put on a clean set of his attire, making his way down the stairs as he started to re-attach his metal arm. Although his human arm hurt almost too much, sleep would do nothing, and since he wasn't tired, he went back to the bartender.
[glow=red,2,300]Vincent Valentine: I'll sleep later, the shower is all I needed for now. My human arm hurts far too much for sleep to re-heal. Now, what is the task you'll have me do?[/glow]
Vincent just finished attaching his metal arm, when he felt another sharp pain in his arm. He slammed his claw arm hard against the bar, leaving a small, noticeable dent on the wood as he tried to listen for her to speak.

Alexia tok her time raising her arms above her head and streching cat-like before leaning on the counter, taking a swig of her cherry coke, and actually answering.
"I already said tha ti'd need to think about it. People around here usually have money. Well lets see there is the tradtional, "do me a favor and give me your soul" but I could take that anyways. As it is, I'm too lazy to actually think of something now, give me a day or so. If your arms hurts, I've got potions that heal to perfection. My damn brother insists upon it. Would you like one?"
She really didn't care either way, but he's the one that mentioned it, so he was obvisouly hoping to find someone, or something that would help him some.
"Or there is the option of a sleeping draught that'll place you in a deep, dreamless, totally refreshing sleep that will have your arms naturally healed upon wakine 48 hours later."
