OK, this is the first RPG thread I've created on here, so...mods, if I go wrong, I'm sure you'll let me know.
This is an RPG I played on another site, but it died a death - I'm interested to see how it'll go here.
This is an all-creature RPG - no humans, elves, goddesses etc please. Unicorns, werewolves, squirrels () etc are fine. I don't know how you play your RPGs, but I'll be setting up an OOC thread for character profiles and plot discussions.
Basic synopsis: Dakela is a demon, freshly awoken from a long sleep. He wishes to conquer the lands he finds himself in, and tries to beat the creatures there into submission by creating an eternal winter.

Dakela
At the darkest place, deep inside the biggest mountains of this world, an evil lurked and had been doing so for as long as time itself could remember. But something had disturbed its sleep. The creatures around the mountain and the cave there, fled when a huge roar was heard from deep inside the cave.
It was a depressed cry from a newly awoken creature but some seconds after, a new, more terrifying and angry roar was heard.
The creature was long and black, its body clouded by dark dust. Narrow red reptile eyes eagerly looked around. It walked outside the cave with slow, unsure steps, untill the sun peeked up. The demon hissed loudly when he felt the sun upon his body but he soon learnt to ignore it while starting to flap with his wings on his back.
Quickly, like he had done it before, he lifted off the ground, flying up to some cliffs nearby. There he stopped, looking around at the creatures and the rest of the world, while a evil smirk crept onto his face.
"Dakela has arisen," he hissed. He didn't know how he knew his name, it was just there in his head, as well as his plans for the world.
Dakela had been quick about moving. It was like a whole life had been printed into his head. He knew exactly where to go and do. Still there was a annyoing feeling in his mind that told him that he could't have a normal life. That frustation made him let out his aggresion on the few poor things he meet in his way to his goal.
Newly awoken from his sleep, he couldn't use his wings for very long. He was too exhuasted to use them now but he could still walk. His steps created an echo through the thin valley he walked through, scaring all small creatures away.
While the sun still rode the sky, he stopped, looking at the view in front of him.
A dark castle jutted up, right in the middle of the mountains. It had long been abandoned...but not anymore.
A satisfied smile cept onto the demons' face once again.
Talan
Talan crept slowly through the undergrowth.
~Just...a little nearer....~
His eyes gleamed blue in the pale moonlight, his white fur glimmering as he pulled his body silently through the fallen leaves. Ahead, the undergrowth petered out into a clearing. Talan stopped, his nose wrinkling as he sniffed the air and the ground. He scanned the clearing quickly, judging distances. He pressed himself into the ground, and readied to spring. Up ahead, a rabbit sat, nibbling a long blade of grass. Talan slowed his breathing and narrowed his eyes as the rabbit's ears flicked up, it looked around, and then went back to nibbling on the grass. Talan leapt. The rabbit, startled, sprinted for cover, but it was too late. Talan swiftly broke the rabbit's neck, causing as little pain as possible, then carried it to the base of tree. He lay down, and began to eat. When he was finished, he wiped his muzzle clean on a patch of grass. Taking the rabbit's carcass, he swiftly dug a hole, and covered it up.
"Sorry, little fella. But I've got to eat too."
Sated, Talan fell asleep under the tree. But he didn't sleep for long. His paws twitched, his lips curled, and small whimpers escaped, before he sat up with a howl which echoed around the glade. He groaned and lowerd his head down to his paws.
"It's been years. Why can't these dreams leave me alone?" He muttered, to no-one in particular. He stood up, and stretched, raking claw marks in the grass, and shook his coat, dew falling in droplets onto the ground. He looked up at the sky. The sun was peering over the tops of the trees, its rays beginning to warm Talan through his fur. Talan yawned, showing his fangs, and sighed. He looked at the little mound which covered the carcass of the rabbit and shuddered. He never could stand to be around the remains of his meals for long. Sniffing the air for signs of any danger, he moved his way slowly back into the shadowed undergrowth of the forest.
