from a strict christain veiw marrige between gay coupels should not be alowd
However, the goverment muct provide equal treatment, so if they give benifits to straight coupels for marrying they must at the bery least have a way to give gay/lesbiens the same beifits
so as long as marrige grants you federal benifits they can not constatuitionally deny the gays and lesbiens the right.
However if marrige had no connection to goverment at all they could exclude gays and lesbiens as many clubs do

I completely agree with gay marriage. I don't think it's right to use a book from one religion as a basis for the laws of a country. I also think that everyone should be allowed to celebrate and express their love and if a gay couple want to do this in a church they should be allowed.
I personally do not believe that the Bible was written from God's words. It's too full of contradictions. I believe man wrote the Bible to cover his own prejudices: "I'm not being prejudiced! God told me that this is wrong!". For Christians Jesus' message was simple: "Love one another as I have loved you". No one should be discriminated against if they follow the words of Christ.
Also if we followed every word of the Bible women would be nothing, rapists would be rewarded and every non-Roman Catholic would go to hell.

Nicely said... ;D However others go on a principal of faith which is fine....how ever I think that it takes form a citizens constitutional right......I have no problem with choice.

That is true and really seriously this land was founded as being Free. You really can't let anything be number 1. Something the right wing and everyone else has forgotten. Then again Christian's as a whole don't tollerate anyone else very well. And my whole thing with religion and especially Christianity is that man REALLY Messed that one up. One of the biggest mistakes man's ever done.
