The beginning of the week didn’t start off the way I would have liked. After two weeks of going at it like a mad person, Monday saw me taking a break. I had written enough to take me through last weekend, but I just couldn’t think of anything once I sat down again. I guess I needed more of a break than two days.
It’s been hard to sit down and write this week. The cold weather has put a big damper on my writing. My wrists start to ache, and I have to stop, so that does little to motivate me. By yesterday, I was two days behind in my word count and I had to again, write like a mad person to get caught up.
But my word count is going good, I have to write like crazy to either make up for the weekend or make sure my count is a few days ahead. Weekends are a lost cause when it comes to writing. So much going on. Hubby says he’s working this weekend, so hopefully I can get to the 40k mark by next Monday. I’m also thinking, that if I decide to revise this story, I’ll talk to Hubby’s priest. There are some things I have no idea on, like details of the resurrection of Christ, and that sort of stuff, and I have no idea of how a conversation between a priest and Amelia would go. I’ve also got a good idea for the lore. But like I said, if I decide to revise, I’ll clean it up then. Hubby gave me a book on Catholism, he said that should answer some of my questions. But I still think it’s a good idea to talk to his priest.
What’s happened so far:
After narrowly escaping an attack my minions, Amelia, her three sons along with Alexia and Jared, have found refuge in a local church. The land and building offer sacred protection to the group, and allow them enough time to devise their next move. Meanwhile, Homer has uncovered some new information regarding Chad‘s situation, but before he can inform the rest, he is attacked and left for dead by someone close to him.
