Okay
So I have been looking around and going to those normal stations where there are good tv shows. I'm talking about the extended or what use to be called extended channels. Those that you can't pick up with rabbit ears and need satalite or cable to pick up.
I'v noticed something the state of these once great tv networks. The ones that gave us so many good shows are failing. They don't have alot of great shows. Look at sci-fi. I mean they have alot of great interesting and cool shows and yet now they typically run second hand shows already cancelled. Which is great. Some of these shows didn't deserve to get the Ax. Yet, after Battlestar I don't really see a good intense show and they are now losing Atlantis just to have it be replaced with another "new" Stargate. Which I'm sorry but I think Stargate is going to be pimped out and
Oh and HBO is not fairing that well. They arn't what they once were. True blood is the only good thing they have. Showtime is losing af ew of there stable shows as well and so I don't know about the effect or state of these channels. But, there is so many channels that are in need of improve or go back and get some of those great tv shows we once had. Because, hate to say it but Reality tv is coming back..so it seems.

Yeah.. all we need now is the second or third coming of reality tv and we then we are more or less screwed. Reality tv is always going to be around. It'll never die away or be killed off. Not just the fact that there are whole Channels dedicated to it..but because ti's cheap. It's WAY cheaper to actually do reality show versuses a scripted show. I think that is why Bravo has so totally jumped on reality tv bandwagon. Because, it's cheap. You would think though that the proven stations and all would actually try and top themselves to try and come out with better quality shows. Can't help but wonder what the over all effect of the strike will have us now.

I do think that there maybe or could be a demand to have it mroe "real" and less edited/fake. It's so bad now that you can tell when a piece of speach..is actually dubbed and entered in. It's kinda funny when that happens. Generally the voice and pitch sounds off and they are using a shot where you'r not looking at the speaker. Yet, some of the editors are actually so inept that they do use that piece of shot footage but it doesn't match the mouth movements lol. I'm hopeing that we may actually go real with reality tv and not sinsationalization. I'm talking about the first lets say...up to San Fran...and a bit of Miami...Real World. Those are real people and not really having the producers trying to cookie cutter people. One of the most real is San Fran and LA for Real World. But, then again those were very interesting times.

Ah, I don't think I saw either of those. Oh wellz. And as long as they don't keep non reality shows from coming on then its all good. Otherwise, I may just never watch tv again.
