Well, I just finished the book. And I must say I enjoyed it. It is interesting that this book is marketed towards a younger generation, as I found it charming and witty. On several occasions I giggled outloud. I also like how it stay at one perspective and didn't shift. While I would love to known what happened in various areas of the book in regards to Edward, it stayed true to form and allowed my imagination to fill in the blanks.
While this is a vampire story, I consider it to be more of a young love story between a girl and a vampire. It was well written and easy to read. I looked forward to the next book. Definately gets my recommendation.

You know, as I read this book, I slowly started deciding that I didn't like it. I'm just not into romantic novels and things like that.

Now the fans of her novels won't be able to read the final book. Apparently part of the rough draft got put on the internet, and in protest, she's put off finishing the last one.

yeah I'd heard. I think ti's stupid that they didn't actually try and protect that series a bit more. Should have treated it like the Potter books really.
i tried to read this novel but couldn't. It's Ann Rice minus the sex. Pretty much all it is.

I love this book and the entire saga, I just don't like how Bella is always second guessing her self and being a wuss.
