Becareful with what you post on the net, especially your blogs. More bloggers than ever face arrest for exposing human rights abuses or criticising governments. Full ArticleI personally think that our government is getting paranooid. One might think that they did something wrong and are afraid to get caught....hmm. I mean come on....a persons personal opinion would fall under Freedom of speech. An author writes a book, a columnist writes a column, a everyday Joe writes a blog. Yet, it is the everyday Joes who seem to be the ones being heard and it is pissing someone off. Its not like they are promoting assassinations and what not, they are just letting thier voice be heard. I can't believe that we the people are being censored because the governement doesn't want to face reality. According to the University of Washington annual report, since 2003, 64 people have been arrested for publishing their views on a blog. It went on to reveal that in 2007 three times as many people were arrested for blogging about political issues than in 2006. Is this violating our rights to freedom of speech or should all bloggers now be considered terriorist. So my question is, what is a blogger doing that is causing the government and the american people terror? Thoughts?

I know that things are tight in China, but the US? This is surprising to me.
