so this is my first to make my own recipe for banana nut cake and it turn out to look like this images.seppyfood.com/Picture%20140.jpgyes i know i over mix the batter today. is it still good for you to help me find out i got the recipe right or not. it taste good too thanks well here it is step 1 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar cream them till fluffy step 2 add 1 egg till it combine step 3 add 1 cup flour till it combine and then add 1/2 cup of milk. then i added 1 cup flour, 2 Table spoon of coco powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder step 4 fold in 3 mashed bananas, and a 1/2 cup chop walnuts bake at 350F for 50 mins

That usually happens to cakes and breads when the pan was over oil/greased. As for the cake/bread itself...You can tell by looking at the texture that your batter was too heavy with wet incredients...
