Isn't it just the biggest pain in the *beep*. I"d rather move than renovate.

Renovating is awful, I feel your pain. Hope all goes well and the results are good-looking

I know very well how hard remodeling a room can be...I am glad you were safe about it and wore a mask...I bet when you are done though, it will look so much better...as for what you found under the floor, my curiosity is peaked....

Oh Rell what a big Job! We live in a brick built house with the insulation between the internal bricking and the external bricking so we have no contact with the yucky stuff. I'm sure it's a pain to do now, and the mess will try its best to get everywhere in the house but once its all done I'm sure the upset now will have been worth it. What on earth have you found under the floor!?!? do tell do tell

OMGoodness! what strange holes to have in the floor, I'd be careful Rell you might find a previous occupant of the house if you look any further...lol Sorry couldn't resist. It makes you wonder though what was going through the minds of the people who 1st built the house to add all these odd little spaces and things.... well at least your getting them put right so come the winter your room is going to be toasty, warm and dry. Keep your chin up hun, I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. xx

Woohoo StarTrek on the walls.... You know if you look real carefully, on the right side about half way up, it looks like a face in the hole...now that is interesting. My daughter and husband didn't see it, my son thinks it looks like a mask....was there a mask in the hole?
