I have always thought it might be possiable...From watching Star trek when I was young, to even now as I am older. The I came across this article and it gives me hope...althoug h I do understand the signifigance of this...would you really consider this to be teleportation or more of a transfernce of matter? Scientists in Germany say they have successfully teleported the combined quantum state of two photons. For Full Article

I think it might becme possible, but searching into quantum mechanics might be a dead end. As the scientific community says again and again, "most quantum mechanic scientists arent sure what they are talking about"

I remember reading a Chricton book Timeline. It's how he got the idea for the novel which was turned into a pretty good movie.
Anyhow, these scientists built a machine that sent this object exactly like a wierd fax...from New York to somewhere in California I believe. You'd have to pick up the book Timeline and look in the back for the research and the papers but it's there. So if we can move an object people will be the next step.

Quantum Physics. The wonderful confusing world of Quantum Physics. Timeline was about taking people, breaking them down into electrons, transporting them to the other facility and somewhere in there they went through a hole in time. Its a fascinating story, but Quantum Physcis is a dream. Most men who study it dont understand it themselves, and its based on one phenomona dealing with electrons.
