Do you believe in time travel or the possibility of it and if you could travel in time, would you go back into the past or would you go into the furture? And what would you hope to see?

Its not a matter of believing it. Time travel has succesfully been proven possible though it is only possible to go to the future.
People who study astro-physics will know this. The answer to time travel is: time dilation. This simply means that time for an object in a resting frame will dilate (slow down) in comparison to another time in an inertial frame of reference if the object is travelling at least at 10% of the speed of light.
What it boils down to is. The clock on board a vessel travelling at 10 or more percent the speed of light will slow down in comparison to a clock on earth. The consequences are phenomenol. For example, an astronaut travelled in space for 5 years whilst travelling at half the speed of light. When it has been 5 years for him he returns to earth to find that it has actually been....10 or 20 or even 30 (or more) years have gone by. Hence, the astronaut is only 5 years older than when he set out yet he views the future world in his lifetime.
Time travel. Once someone builds a machine that travels at 10% the speed of light. It will become possible.

WOW sunny who knew .? I had no idea you like this subject matter, I am impressed....Your right in your discription of time travel, although I never heard of it being proven only theorized....but if it was how cool...Its amazing how far science has come, dont you think? ;D
lets say for "fantasy" sake if you could travel int time...backwards and forwards which would you rather do? And what would you like to see?

Of course. I even do it every day. Watch.
*waits five minutes*
See, five minutes in the future.
But more seriously. . . I'd think that even with fantastical time travel being avalible, going back still wouldn't be possible. Or if possible, very unsafe and highly stupid. If you went back and changed something you'd probably end up changing the world drasticly to a degree at which you probably wouldn't be traveling back in time. And since you didn't travel back in time, then that change didn't happen so you do travel back and. . .
If it was possible to go back in time and change things without getting stuck in some loop, I think one of the few things I'd do would be to not say yes to my ex-bf when he asked me out. Not that he's a jerk or anything, but it doesn't seem like he's taking the break-up well and he's not someone I mean to do harm. But I wouldn't go back and change one of my friends dying. I mean, I want to, but I am not about to make a change that I can't even imagine what the outcome would be. So much happened as at least what seems as effects of his death, that I couldn't imagine what would happen if he hadn't died.
I'm not sure that I'd want to go forwards in time. I'm not sure I see the point unless I could go forward, get some exact technology that I want, then come back and go vigilantte on some people. Other than that, I don't really see the point in going forwards any faster than the rate I'm going at now.
