As you know I love watching all kinds of scifi....this topic has always intrigued me....Is it possible for the existence of parallel universes....There was a show called Sliders that was based around this concept and got me in to this thought....Is there a parallel universe, where there's anouther you or me? Would our life outcome been different? ...Could one choice cause such a rippled effect in a destiny'to make a world completely parallel but completely ddifferent? If there was or indeed is a parrallel universe, what are some of the differences you think there might be? What would you like to be different?

I believe in the existance of parallel universes. The idea that one choice that we make can form a whole different timeline, and that there is no end to the possibilities is very intriguing.
There are some people who say that the ghosts we see, the flickers of what seem to be 'misplaced time' and such, are actually ripples in the walls that divide our realities, and that we're not so much seeing ghosts from another time, but actually looking through the walls and into another reality. Its an interesting thought.

There is actually a belief that were all connected inner locking and that if something happens if one life is taken out the whole thing is messed up. Like a guitar string. Dean Koontz based that idea in From the Corner of His eye. Two small kids could jump to other parallell places and such. Was a wonderful book. Do I think there is another me? Yes. I believe there is a world were my dad is alive and that I didn't have to go through what I did. Why not? If you can believe in a Jesus Christ or a God why can't you believe in ET or another universe? All it is faith. But wouldn't be the kicker if this was the alternate universe? That this in a way is heaven?

Is heaven just a term for anouther form of existence?...It boggles the mind at all the possibliities...

i beleive in them becuse i am wiccan for one, and so i ebleive in the astral plane which is suppose to be a parralel plain and also i beleive their to be countless other planes of excistence, and that through meditation one can see these other realms, though such a thing can be dangerous.

Is heaven just a term for anouther form of existence?...It boggles the mind at all the possibliities... well what about this..christians' believe that you have to work and earn that right. But, we all know that humans are well imperfect they are always going to do something wrong or "bad". So what about if you work and work through different lifetimes or differen't planes of existance. Then finally earning that right to go to heaven. Would explain that feeling of knowing someone like through another life.. Like what is it re-incarnated? That would explain that.

Well if you believe in god. Which many do even the wiccan, the major difference is wiccan also believe in everything else inbetween i know this to be fact .God or the creator said " i made everything that was made, that is made, and that ever will be made." so in saying this ... we as man can not know for sure everything he has created .. its a endless universe as we know it to be at least now.So the possibilities of alternate realities, or parallell planes, its totally possible... because look around you ... everything we do see around use know..some of it we do not fully understand, but it is there. It does exsist..So as much as i believe in the powers that be.. thats what Ominpentent means all powerful, all knowing.God said he did have sheep in other pastures.. so it could be alternate universe as well, as other planters.

I do believe there are other universes out there. I tend to refer to some as "parallel" even though I don't believe there is another me or anyone else out there. All a parallel universe has to be in order to be parallel in my opinion is allow people to cross from one side to the other. That's what makes them "connected." ----WARNING: THIS NEXT PART CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM THE GAME TALES OF SYMPHONIA--- Don't continue if you don't want to be spoiled. Tales of Symphonia deals with parallel universes, and it reminded me of something I learned a long time ago. Basically in TOS one of the worlds is prospering while the other is dying (it's a long story so I'll leave it at that). It made me think of something. A disaster of some sort (like wiping out the dinosaurs) happens about every 25million years (or something like that). It made me wonder if our world worked like that. --NOTE-- I don't believe the world works like that, but I did think it was sort of cool.
