This is proberly the piece of poetry that means the most to me. I wrote it in memory of my sister Emma (4/24/91-8/25/91) about 4 years ago on the 10th aniversary of her death.
~*~Emma~*~
a minute seems like eternity without you by my side i still remember every second of that august day you died
it was early in the morning when the tears began to fall why now? why today? for you i'd give my all
i didnt know you very long but you reached into my heart you'll stay with me forever even though were far apart
i think about you every day, the times we could have shared i wonder what you'd be like i wonder if you'd care
your smile is lost forever to this world you left behind your laughter is forever gone i search but cannot find....

That was so sad and beautiful....Ia m sorry to hear about your sister. One to not live so long is tragic, but in that short time she has made a wonderful impression on you that will last forever..and that is a good thing. Iam sure where ever she is, she loves your poem.Thank you for sharing. Nicely done ;D

Awww, I love it!! I wrote a poem like that about someone, but then my mum threw out my old poetry book...Grr. I really like it!! Thanks My parents have never seen any of my poetry, niether have many of my friends. But it would really suck to have it thrown away, I don't spend much time writting my poetry but they have a lot of meaning to me.
