Should Fat People Be Banned From Resteraunts?America has banned smoking in almost every public place in Major US Cities. You thought it wouldn't affect you, well, allow the government in the crack of the door, and life is no longer your own. I was watching the news this morning and this question was presented during one of their segments. I swear my mouth about dropped. Mississippi, the fattest state in the Union, introduced a bill last Friday that would ban some restaurants from serving anyone with a BMI over 30. House Bill 282. This is just aweful. I can't beleive that they are even considering this. What are your thoughts on this?

This really kinda makes me want to laugh.
When I first clicked, I thought it was going to be something like a restaurant that serves really fatty food not wanting to serve fat people because less fat people would see them eating there and freak out thinking eating there would make them fat.
But no.
The government passing laws to prevent restaurants from serving fat people. Uh, isn't this the same government which forces you to ignore race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, etc. when hiring. And here they are telling people who you can and can't feed.

OMG! -lmao- That is REALLY bad for buisness. I mean I'm a fat person but when you go to a restraunt who would you want......an anerexice person? or a fat person? Rest my case.
Also too this will get shot down as unconstitutional. If they actually pass this they could even make a good case for bringing back the Jim Crow Laws. I don't see it passing.

Apparently this was meant to bring attention to America's weight problem. Like the States don't already know they're one of the fattest countries in the world. Canada comes in at second. But that's just because you have more people than we do

Also too if you think about mentally what you are telling people you arn't helping. You could actually be feeding them more and more into a depression. There are over weight people that actually when they are not emotionally present eat to try and get passed it. I have family members like that and heck I use to do it.
