I was watching the news this morning and a segment about a Texas Pizza joint that excepted Pesos as a method of payment and gave us currency in exchanged. It ias spawned up a controversy about weather he should be allowed to do this. Texas a state that has problems with illegal aliens. After reading the article HERE tell me what you think. Should he be allowed to do this and give illegeal aliens a way to laundry out thier pesos as a method of payment or should he be penalized and forced to use us currency ? What are your thoghts on this?

Crazy... but then again businesses have to resort to all kinds of ridiculous gimmicks... I just hope it all doesn't backfire on the place.

Hmm. That's difficult to say, especially when you have cases like in Dominican Republic where a lot of the neighborhoods tourist visit use american money entirely so that they can have american money when they make their way to american soil.
This was the case when they caught a boat of Dominicans trying to make it to the Puerto Rican coast and they had american money with them.

It's only one store actually and it's a trial period. And, it's here in the suburb's somewhere. I think it's like 45 min's away from my place to be honest. I forgot the street but I think it's pretty close to where I am. So it's Dallas area.
Doesn't bother me. I got a Canadian 5 piece from somewhere. I don't know where but was when I was out buying things. I passed it off as a 50 cent peace. Didn't have another quarter at the time and they took it. Although I think though you should be able to have a choice if you are going to have back for change. Like be able to tell them that you don't want mexican money just american or what not.
Oh and for every 11 pecos is a one american dollar. And, I doubt the poor migrants have enough for 2 dollars american money. 22 pecos.

i think the government should stay out of the way of all businesses unless they are trying to form a monopoly! i mean its that persons business and he has to pay the bills and everything else so he should be able to run his business how he wants to without any interference

i think the government should stay out of the way of all businesses unless they are trying to form a monopoly! i mean its that persons business and he has to pay the bills and everything else so he should be able to run his business how he wants to without any interference True but here in the Dallas area where I am and that store is. We have a few cities and even my own city that I live in that are trying to do away with illegal's. Basically not providing them with a home. It was in the media there for a while. ACLU came down and started suing the cities it's FLowermound and a few other's. Basically there to the north of me and are growing cities. They dont' exactly have alot of problems but hispanics is one of the problems since alot of carpenter's and house builder's and street people are hispanics. -shrugs- Illegal immigration and what not is pretty bad. But, to be fair they are the one's that do help build up cities and places. North Dallas each few years each new city grews at an ungodly rate. Wasn't for the hispanics doubt many would be growing as big. Sometimes they grow TOOO big TOOO fast.
