Does this bother you? You know to some it does. I don't know why but it does bother some. I'm asking does it bother you that Bono *From U2* askes and works with charity organizations to help pay for people in another country and all that. When they themselves could put a BIG cut of it if they just payed it themselves.
So does it bother you? I know that right now alot of people are coming ot the aid of Africa. Which I think is great. Angelina is doing the same as well as George Cloony and the whole Darfour ordeal. Which is truelly a bad situation and what makes it sadder is that American media's not doing that much over it.
So was just wondering. This was on another forum...I thought I'd post here.

It doesn't bother me at all. There are so many problems in the world and sometimes a little celebraty indorsment to help these people may do the trick. Look at all the good that Jerry Lewis has done for MS. Do you really think that they (the MS Foundation) would have the money or the attention that they do if it weren't for Jerry and his telethon every year?
The sad fact is 'out of sight, out of mind' is all to prevelent now a days. People are so consumed with their own life that they barely have time to look around and see how the world is doing.

True. I know that some think "how dare they ask us when they have more money then we do".
But also another case in point with the whle out of site out of mind. We as American's are just learning more about Darfour. It's another Kosovoo and Rwanda. It's genocide and pretty bad cases of it. Yet, think though that the celeb's that are trying to get American's to pay attention...and doing good. Even though personally think they should know more.
