What are your views on this? Is there life after death? Do you believe you have had a previous life? What are your views on this?

Why would a God/Goddess want to say no to this for his/her people? I say yeah that is one of the possibilities.

I believe in re-incarnation. I believe that when you die, you come back as any other being.

I'm really not sure what I believe about reincarnation, it's quite a difficult thing for me to even consider believing in, probably because it doesn't exactly agree with my desire for death to be the final end I am interested in it though, but see it as rather like any other religous type belief that exists, something created to ensure people behave in a certain way through fear of retribution and/or promise of reward.

I completely believe in reincarnation. With my personal beliefs it just makes total sense.
You see this happening all around you, well I do with the changing of the seasons. If plants do it, why can't humans. I think I've had several lives, one being in Japan, another during Medevil(sp) times just because I have a strong appreciation for these things.
I was once told that I had an 'Old Soul' and that a friend of mine had a 'New Soul'. At the time I didn't understand, but now I do. YOu look at people and think 'Geez, why don't they grow up', when part of their situation may be that they are a new sould and are learning certain lessons for the first time.
I don't know if I've explained myself very well. Sorry.

I do think that this is the kind of thing which i was talking about in the other thread. In this belief, there is no need to live in any way, no need to do much of anything but exist. there are no consequences, no God, just you being lots of different people.
And this is a 3,000 year old idea, Egyptian if im not mistaken.

No matter what even if there isn't a Deity up in the sky...there still be Karma. So in a way you'd have consequences adn such for people's actions. Not a diety.

My my we are striking nerves arent we? try picking up a bible and reading it. Its called reaping what you sow, its not magical its called common sense. If you throw a brick at your neighbor, your neighbor probably wont be nice to you. If you plant corn and expect radishes your gonna get radishes. If your a total pain in the () most people probably wont like you, and wont act favorably toward you. but hey, you believe it all, or do you.

A christian...a hardliner just described Karma. You do understand that that whole thing you just posted is the definetion of what people come to believe as in Karma. Which is a belief that Buddism believes in. So you just described something of another religion and culture. Rather you like it or not Christianity is still considered a baby religion. I know that ticks you off to no end and upsets you because I'v just bashed your rreligion or so you think. I just said the truth. It's not as old as people I think want it to be. Pagan and other's are still the older and still thriving and will always be around. Same as gay's, lesbian's, Leather culture and any other way acn think of living your life.

gasp your right. i think ill go give some brea to the fat man statue cause.......o you sly fox, i almost forgot that man tends to steer away from God, so this Karma might be another way to say "Look at dat! its outside of da bible!" once more aaron, your convincing me that your simply running away, trying to disprove in everyway you can think of, and when you show me that buddhism exists over God, ill show you Jesus existed before the foundations of the world.
thats called, a challenge. not entirely biblical, but hey il go for it.

Just playing Devil's advocat. Actually, that is what I do. -smiles- Actually, I believe in a form of a God. But, is it what you believe and htink no. I'm not a hardliner and I'll never be a hardliner. I'll never be like you Voltage. I'm to open to things and I question things and I think it through. Because, I'm sick of being a puppet. Which is what I see alot of cases when it comes to religions as a whole. That and well the way I live My life isn't exactly Christian Okayed. Not that I nor any of us really give a rats but what the christian's believe.

devils advocat? i think thats copyrighted by someone, a movie or something. and if your under karma, you are a puppet a puppet of your own desicions. so let me ask you if your mean to me will you get goodwill cause im a "hardliner"(whatever that means) im sure in your mind you will get rewarded by something, but is that how it works? anytrhing you do you get rewarded for? every person i know who believes in the buddhist "karma" think that they will get all the good rewards for the good stuff they do, the only time they mention somethin bad is to other people. Now what kind of selfish idiot came up with that. probably a prince who was tired of being a puppet and decided to run the world, declaring curses on others cuse he was such a good person. thats called buddhism. thats what your following. you dont give a rats about anyone cause buddhas got his hand up your rats and is making all your desicions in your favor, for your rewards. youll get them aaron, youll get em for sure.

First off who ever taught you the Christian faith should be sOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy and proud of you. You'r tolerence that is taught in the Bible..isn't very tolerant. Except to your own kind. ahhhhhhhhhhh -smiles big- gotta love the new Christian. Peace and Love isn't exactly in there book there. I said I believe in Karma. I'm not practicing ANY Buddism. In fact I know nothing more then the Karma thing. I don't have any books and I'm not really interested in reading any. Why? Same reason why I don't go pick up the Bible and go rolling along the isles. I know this is going to tick you off this reply so sit down and brace yourself. The Bible supports karma. Iin it's own way. But, yeah I believe that the more good you give out to the world the more in return and vice versa. Now that isn't a bad thing nor a horrible thing. You'r doing good things in the world? What is so wrong with that? Why so offended and litterally really pissed at the thought? How many Christians do you know that actually do try and do good and not use Sunday morning's as "Oscar" Weekend *That meant a fashion show* to show off there new wear's and there new haircuts and that new BMW car? What denomination are you? Baptist is my guess and more like Southern Baptist really. I don't take you for a Catholic. But, you'r very much a hardliner...a real conservative. You know the lingo and you have there personality, there walk, there talk. Basically, strike me as a person that is "this is this and this is that" and anything else write it off. That is where me and you clash and why we always will clash. You sit there in your chair and call Me a puppet? Me a puppet? You need to look in the mirror my friend because you'r VERY much a puppet for the Christian Conservative's. Hardliner? Meaning you are very much for the conservative. You want all things the most uptight conservative wants but has no shot in haties of actually achieving.

I dont care if anybodys proud of me, frankly my life sucks having to talk to people like you who want to try to say they accept all people and enjoy karma but will never accept christianity. probably because deep in your heart you know that all the other crap that people have dreamt up doesnt have any merit. doesnt really make you feel good. its fun for a while but doesnt have any long term insurance plan. hence reincarnation. you just pop right back up like some video game.
Definition: Karma Karma Noun 1. (Hinduism and Buddhism) the effects of a person's actions that determine his destiny in his next incarnation.
*gasp* not the dictionary definition! looks like the hardliner isnt "hardlining" but really making it apparent what you practice. there isnt a gray line between buudhism and sorta buddhism. anymore than saying you could be christian and sorta christian. you are or you arent it isnt like this vast politicial arena we seem to want to create in this board, where you can say stuff like "i believe in reincarnation, and i believe in Karma, but im not buddhist!"
I do look in the mirror and i dont like what i see. im a sinner, a person who screws up his life all the time and so help me i have to depend on God to get me throughthis. every other person in the world can mess in the crap called sin or bad things to your karma evaluation, but im not going to.
You seem to think theres a lot of hardliners above me, i think you need help.
Paranoia A psychotic disorder marked by persistent delusions of persecution or delusional jealousy and behaviour like that of the paranoid personality, such as suspiciousness, mistrust, and combativeness.
maybe you should seek someone, cause id hate to see those hardliners get you in your sleep.
and about denominations lol, why dont you figure it out, your so intelligent you should be able to red my mind.
I believe Christ died for us and rose again, making his salvation credible.
I believe the bible is error-less
I believe in the holy spirit, as indicated by the bible and talk to him daily so i can progressivly clear my life as best i can. im never gonna be perfect, but im not going to sit back and just rot like some carcass.
I believe in heaven and hell.
now go on google and see what you come up with alrighty!
im really starting to enjoy these conversations by the way aaron. ;D
