I think it has in some people and not in others. The issue with technology is that though it is created usually to solve problems, it in turn has a tendency to create more in return. And like with anything, it is most beneficial when a correct balance it reached. Thus, it can sometimes be a problem for inventors of such technology to design it in such a way that it solves more probelms than it presents, and can be correctly "balanced".
Therefore my opinion on the matter is: not in all cases.

TV, Video games, Puters....todays society have gotten lazy in comparision to older times, but on the other hand, technology has saved lives, produce jobs and helped in the economy and and communication ...so I gues it would be a balance...or would it? What would happen to todays society if all technology ceased to exist?

There are several ways one could interpret that question, but I shall assume you mean "If all technological items and concepts (excepting such technology as language, primitive tools, farming and various other basic technology) ceased to exist, as well as all human knowlege of said technology, biological and recorded."
Technology has a tendency to happen. It also has a tendency to accelerate. Thus, I would say that humans would once again be presented with problems, and would again develop their solutions, as a natural anthropological reaction. This of course happens very slowly at first -it took a thousand times slower for technology and human knowlege to double for the first time than it does for it to double now. However, eventually it would accelerate to such a point that we would eventually catch up again. Of course, this would take a very, very, long time.
One interesting concept for how it accelerates is that the more technology we develop, the more problems it presents. We soon start solving those problems, which make more, etc. We also develop a tendency to seek ways of improving our lives, even if there is no "problem" evident, the more technology we develop. This concept is by no mean definite -merely a suggestion at the strange acceleration of technological advancement.
And who knows? Maybe if we were to start technology all over again it would turn out even better in the end.

I am not sure where you stand, you do think we are better now or would better without the technology? I have issues, with the techno babysitters and the god playing part of the whole thing. Not saying I do or dont beleive in God, but you get what I mean.
Instead of parents intereacting with theier kids, its the TV or video games.....or even the puter....or cloning research and chemical warfare, that would eventually bite us in the arse.

Interesting... I would say more, but I don't want to go on too much -I'll leave the question open for other people.

I think it's done the opposite it's made us want more. I mean come on.....watches are becoming obsolete because of all the gadgets we got. Why they are trying to add things on it and all that.

ahh yeah and then Orwell's prediction will be totally right. It'll happen more and more as technology grows. It's already starting to probably get worse by the time have flying cars.

That all being said, it has help develop cures and more advance medicines....but with all the good, comes the bad like anything in life....buit I think the morality of man has taken advantage of such technologies and decided to play god....

On the contrary, weve always thought it fun to play God. But the question is why do we use siuch a term 'playing God' if God doesent 'exist'. kind of a paradox. however man has always had the tendency to fill the gap in their lives that was designed for gods fellowship. but now we reject it and try to do other hurtful and seemingly beneficial things to fill it (e.g. cloning)
