Greeting surface dwelllers.I would like to introduce a game that myself and my members play at The Underdark. It's very simple to play. All you do is find a famous figure like,an actor, president, movie star ect...and post something wise they said.A famous quote or something. Each time your post on this topic you use one that you found and put it here.I'll start it off since I enjoy Plato I'll use his famous quotes.
Example:Plato
"A hero is born among a hundred, a wise man is found among a thousand, but an accomplished one might not be found even among a hundred thousand men".

All things will be produced in superior quantity and quality, and with greater ease, when each man works at a single occupation, in accordance with his natural gifts, and at the right moment, without meddling with anything else.

Do it right or don't do it at all. That comes from my mom. If there's something I want to do, I'm one of those people that won't be satisfied until I get it done. If I'm trying to sing something and I can't get it, I'm going to keep at it until I get where I want it.

"The truth is, laughter always sounds more perfect than weeping. Laughter flows in a violent riff and is effortlessly melodic. Weeping is often fought, choked, half strangled, or surrendered to with humiliation." -- Anne Rice never heard of it...just looked on internet on the first person who came to mind....

As long as I retain my feeling and my passion for Nature, I can partly soften or subdue my other passions and resist or endure those of others.

I have acted fearless and independent and I never will regret my course. I would rather be politically buried that to be hypocritically immortalized.

Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy.

Do ficticious characters count??
"I distrust a close mouthed man. He generally picks the wrong time to speak and says the wrong things. Talking is something you can't do judiciously unless you keep in practice." The Fat Man in "The Maltese Falcon"
If they don't here is the alternative:
"Education is when you read the fine print. Experience is what you get if you don't." Pete Seeger

I will do this. Nothing in my life matters except this. No moment in my life exists except this moment. I am born in this moment, and if I fail, I will die in this moment.

Anyone you admire so yes they count as long as it's a quote.
As a rock on the seashore he standeth firm, and the dashing of the waves disturbeth him not. He raiseth his head like a tower on a hill, and the arrows of fortune drop at his feet. In the instant of danger, the courage of his heart sustaineth him; and the steadiness of his mind beareth him out.

I have gained this from philosophy: that I do without being commanded what others do only from fear of the law.
So what do you think of the game Enchant?Over at my place they love it.

Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for.
