I was reading this article and I couldn't help but wonder what your points of views on this would be. She claims to be illiterate and that her children or freinds of children were the ones to download. Do you think that she should be help responsible for what happens on her puter? Also, do you think it is an invasion of privacy and that an recording industry has the right to sneek a peek into her computer? They used the scenerio, its like a shoplifter. Well if she went in with her kids into a store, and one of her children shoplifted , she would not be held accountable. So, I myself find it hard to understand there charges on her. Second, I don't like the idea of companies intentionally going through a personal computer without permission or knowledge of the owner, more over, I think she has a valid point, if they are so concerned with downlaods, then why not have a security system sending an email for verification or activation. I think this is a screwed up case. I think the recording industry needs to make sure they are not standing in a glass house before they throw stones.

But the movie/music industry is desperate. they still and always it seems think that they can stop these type of things. When honestly they can't. There will always be a way to get around illegal copying of music and movies. Just wait 6 months or a year. Like now they allow it so you have to download this one thing to get this type of cd on your computer. Which sucks cause it messes with your computer. Just wait for a while they will invite a away around that. But, they honestly think they can stop it. If htey just create something and demonize these people.
