You said it was on superstitions, and I may be leaning more on to misconceptions than superstitions, so let me know. I don't have a title for it yet Piffy, but here it is non the less.
They whisper and stare They think I don't hear When they say, "She runs with Lucifer." They'll gasp and get mad Their faces all bland When they see My star crossed hand Devil worshipper Satanist Anti-christ And the such It may seem mean But to a true Pagan It realy isn't much. I worship no devil I believe in him not I ask you to simply stop The names The rumors The lies and more Your superstitions Come from a core Of lies and deciet I worship no devil But I do nature The nature your god created I signed no black book No pact in blood Your are thoughts unjust Not but a dud You kill innocent people Is what you say We are not satanists I insist We just want acceptance In a scoiety Where all other religions Seem okay But I guess it won't happen And it never will For one little Pagan Could never quell An entire country's Superstitons

This isn't that good, just something short I wrote during a lecture today....I think it needs a bit of work You're wasting away, trembling with fear 'cause you see a cat you don't want to be near Why so fearful of these tales of old? Black cat, broken glass, ladder against the wall You're superstitous, scared you're going to fall Haloween comes and the fear overtakes Get over this myth for my sanitys sake

I class this as superstition...*shrugs* Translation is Anglo-Saxon.
Ballad of King Arthur and Sir Lancelot. Gledd of Frea Arthur ond Leof Lancelot.
In the golden cup swirled the blood-red wine In se gylden cuppe flowend se blod-read win, which he clutched unto his chest so near, ðe he fenged oð his banhus swa neah, Oh Arthur cries in Camelot, O, Arthur wop in Camelot, For he's lost his Guinevere, For he leosan his Guinevere.
Oh Guinevere, oh Guinevere, O Guinevere, o Guinevere, to heav'n reached up his fervent call, To heofon ræcaned up his geornful hatan, It echoed round the lonesome room, Hit dynianed ymbutan se anstapa rum, And broke the surrounding pall. Ond brekan se fæðmian salnes.
“Betrayed! Betrayed!” King Arthur wept, “Belæwan! Belæwan!” Frea Arthur wep, Though he loved them no less, Þeah he lufud hie ne læssa, “I am betrayed by my knight, “Ic sie belæwan be min cempa, And my Lady of Westernesse!” Ond min hlæfdige þæs Westernesse!”
The cry of the King was sad and faint, Se cyrm of se Frea wæs gnorn ond stille, “Oh God!” He wept, “This evil plot!” “O Metod!” he wep, “ðes yfel sierwan!” Betrayed by the son he never had, Belæwan be se sunu he næfre ahte, Betrayed by Sir Lancelot! Belæwan be Leof Lancelot!
Thus the Golden City fell to despair, Þus se Gylden Ceaster afyllan to gyrn, As war reared up its ugly head, Þam hild hebbaned hits unfæger heafod, Then into battle Arthur rode, Ðon in lindplega Arthur ridan, Weep England – your king is dead! Wop Englaland – incer Frea sie dead!

Mind if I submit another?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am the outcast, Alone in a world Populated by people That would do nothing but harm me.
'Outcast!' 'Satan-lover!' I am worn, Unloved, The hatred of the world has left me, A battered shell.
But I will not give in. For underneath my haggard cloak, Underneath my tattered skin, A blue light shines in My eyes.
And all who see are filled with fear And wonder. For underneath my tattered clothes, I bear the robes of a priestess Of the Goddess.
Triple Goddess, Maiden, Mother, Crone And we who see are filled with light, The everlasting light of her love.
She who is, Who was, Who forever will be.
And the God, Her Son, her Consort, The horned God.
He who was, Who is, Who forever shall be.
And they rest inside of all Who follow their path.
I am a Witch. I am a Wiccan. I am a follower of the Goddess. I am. I was. I will forever be. And your superstitions Will never quiet me.
