Music is changing all the time. I don't really know who I like that is up to date really, I'll have to have a think about it. mm not that much though. Right now 80 bands are pretty popular. The song Mr. Brightside that is pretty 80's and some of those bands even dress and look like 80's.

Actually if you think about how many musical acts came out or were in the spotlight in the 80's there are a LOT. I mean sit down and think about it. Yes, you had hair bands, you had metel, you had pop, you had rap. With rap had Beastie Boy's. Which come on every 40 year old when they were teens was playing as loud as they can. "You gotta fight for your right..to party!!!!!!!" License to ill was a great record but it was also a rock record. Areosmith came back. Mettalicca, Ac-DC, Poison, Warrent, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, the list goes on.

And know the "Empire's" really made it hard. Although should be interesting when Howard leaves in less then 6 months.

there have been the alternative groups too...such as the culture club..who opened doorways for alot of the more free bands of this genration....yes I think by far the 80's was a stepping stone for this era of music....they opened many doors ....they made metal cool....alternative excepted......and opened the doors for country to pop....and country to rock....and yes the strong shall survive such as the blessed Areosmith....you just can't critisize good music.

70's is good music. My household was reallyyyyy music oriented. My dad was in a band My grandmother played the piano. I grew up listening most to SRV. My dad would play his songs and all. True good music even though it may sound old or inbody an era or something like think Disco....awful dress but some pretty cool songs. They weren't all bad. I think it got saturated like everything else does. But, definetly imbodied an era. Of course good songs and good music no matter how hard or soft..or anything that is what it does.
