Whats the one thing you like about sci-fi and fantasy novel's and stories and the things that you don't?
I know that hte flooding the market over certain type of stories is I think driving it a bit crazy. Yet, you do have a few series that are very intense and different. I think at times finding something that is a bit different and not Lord of the Rings or buffy the vampire slayer is a bit hard.

The one thing that drives me crazy with sci-fi stories is the technical detail. When I read a story I want the story, not an intimate detail of how something works. I find the SW novels are really bad with this. Esecially when it comes to the battle scenes. It's alright to have detail, and sometimes you have to add a bit more to get the right picture in the readers mind, but don't go overboard. Maybe that's why I don't add that much when I write. I concentrate more on the story itself, rather than on what everything looks like.
