The Pentagon's defence scientists want to create an army of cyber-insects that can be remotely controlled to check out explosives and send transmissions. The idea is to insert micro-systems at the pupa stage, when the insects can integrate them into their body, so they can be remotely controlled later. You have to be kidding me.....

Too much cost, bugs dont live that long lol, it cant be done, installation would be longer than the lifespan.

Good point, I'm thinking the same thing... they're better off the with sharks they want to control, and that's a little far fetched as well... =P I'd rather have an entire army of undwer water sharks than bugs in my beloved compy! lol i don't think they'd have the money, and the others are right, the bugd would die not long after. I mean a fly only live for about a week

The sharks I'm thinking would be better... unless by putting that transmitter in the bug it would prolong its life... I think it would shorten it, I mean, radio signals going in and out of your head can't be healthy.... =P
