I didn't get a chance to post this, but thought it was news worthy...for those of you who do not know. D&D Co-Creator Gary Gygax, Passes Away.
He died at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69. He had been suffering from health problems for several years, including an abdominal aneurysm, said his wife, Gail Gygax.
How many of you actually played any of thier games or read the books etc..
I personally have played a few of thier games and I have read a couple of thier books....seen the movie too, although those could have been done way better.

I'm a huge D&D nerd. I've played D&D for about five years, I've played several video games based on D&D and even other tabletop RPGs based on D&D.
Gary Gygax dying was a sad day for D&D gamers, but a TON of jokes has come from it. I found out by watching "The Colbert Report," when Colbert announced his death. He followed with "He'll be missed" and then rolls a 20-sided die "20."
Many, many images and jokes have come up on the internet. One of my favorites was "This deserves a moment of silence (radius 15')" or of course "RIP Gary Gygax, who will be forever rolling in his grave" or some form of that.
It's normally not too cool to make jokes like that about someone dying, but Gary, being the fun-loving, laid back guy he was, probably would have enjoyed it.
RIP Gary Gygax.

D&D changes a lot. In fact, a new version is about to be released very soon.

Oh, Well I meant it probably won't have the same feel now that he's gone.
