According to Variety Report you only have to hold a joystick and pop a cartridge in a console to see it.
Seems like the sequel we’ve all been waiting for is bypassing theatres and headed straight to the video game console.
All this time waiting for the sequel movie, I hope what Dan Aykroyd’s thinking is that the game will see renewed interest in “Ghostbusters” and increase the chances of a “Ghostbusters 3” being made… because I’d be sad to think he pissed his script away on a video-game.

I findi t odd that they would make a video game out of a movie that is what, 20 years old? Not to mention the sequal sucked. Could it be that these actors needed money? I don't think any of them have worked since the mid-90's

I liked both the Ghost buster movies ( I'm a huge Bill Murray Fan) not sure I'd want to see them all back together again in another Ghost Buster flick, time has passed them by for that. Bill Murray has done plenty of stuff since GB, plus he does a lot of things for charity with his brothers. Dan Aykroyd has been busy making movies both infront and behind the camera, and Harold Ramis has moved in to writing and directing.

From what I've read in Wizard, Ramis, Aykroyd and some input from Murray will be writing the script for the game. The story will feature a new recruit as well.
