well, the topic pretty much says it, but in case u didnt know, this is about the classic games from the previous generations and ones that will be classics that we have experienced. I was just curious what classic games you guys consider to be the best ever...me personally, i have enjoyed many games in my past, but only few hold the dear spots at the top of my list. I shall list the top 10:
10. Mario 64
this game was underrated beyond imagination. I have to give this game props because this game awed gamers around the world and held the nintendo co. together during that generation.
9. Zelda 64
this game was great, but overrated, i thought. I loved it, but it never gave me that replay valure i search for in games.
8. Golden Sun (game boy advance)
this game is amazing...probably the third best rpg game that ever existed for me. I truly hold this one in high respects.
7. Super Mario 3 (nintendo)
this game, i think, set the stage for the mario games. this game proved to me that the future mario games will be great, but this one will always hold that pedestal at the top.
6. Super Smash Brothers Melee (nintendo gamecube)
this game was amazing, with its high content of replay value and the exciting additions of features. However, it cannot match the replay value fo the first one, it still is amazing.
5. Halo 2 (Xbox)
put it plain and clear, the only thing that made this game great was the fact that it could be played online. I disliked all of it, except that it could be played online, and that was satsfying enough for me.
4. Super Smash Brothers (N64)
this game, as stated above, had amazing replay value, and that is all it needed to make it great. I have nothing else to say becuase it speaks for itself.
3. Halo (XBOX)
the amount of time i have spent on this game is unthinkable. Hours of my life have been put into this game, and with that, it deserves to be at the top of my list because it holds a true part of my life with it.
2. Final Fantasy Tactics (PS one)
probably the only game i have, and will ever, like on the playstation series. this game was amazing and hold the title, for me, as the second best rpg of all time.....ever, to exist....well, i shall allow you to think about this awe-inspiring game because i can't put into words how great it is.
1. Super Mario rpg: legend of the seven stars
(super nintendo)
my most favorite game of all time. It has excited me beyond all recognition, and i should have it cased, and i should sleep with it safe between my arms for the rest of eternity, because no orther rpg has held such great replay value as this one has for me. I have played and beaten this game 23 times, which i am proud of. I have mastered its techniques.
i would love to have your opinions on what i have said and what your favorite games of all time are.
