"I shuold hope she views me as a friend, seeing as out adventure together stopped a potential war between our countries, due to false accusation. Thats how the alliance with Corrigon came to be. And yes, royalty can ahve real friends. I should know. I may only be the heiress to the Corrigon throne, but I'm still someone who knows how to make genuine friends. " *She paused for a moment.* "As for Alexia, her dispute with what we call the old religion, is what is called Christianity where she came from, has everything to do with her father, her brother, her mum, and the singular christian god. Its a long long story, but its understandable. I don't blame her one bit. Her life has sucked because of all of that, she's allowed to be bitter and refuse to say old religion names if she chooses. So did you pick out a weapon form the boxes I left?"

"I guess she does...Where I come from, the Christians - the middle religion - are presecuted by people outside the three religions, but you probably knew that due to my family's struggle to keep our own thrown due to my Father's and his father's and so on's religion. The old one has almost died out, so no one notices them any longer.
"We finished a tiny civil war over the three just last year. It was fast and quick. Sister knows how to do such things I guess...Only five people died, I don't really get how it all went down so easily."
She shook her head. "I found a schimtar. I was going to go looking for a place to sharpen it at before putting it at my hip. It'd make me too jumpy if I was carrying a dull one."

"Yeah, Corrigon for the most part follows the "ultimate" religion...but thought its a Queendom, it is a free counrty adn people can do as they please. Why force one faith? As long as you have faith.
For the sword, there are three sharpeners in a room just behind the gallies, you can go sharpen it there. ^^ I've got to get up top deck to check our progress."
*With that she left the girl and went to the deck.*

Izzy jumped off the barrel and retrieved the schimitar before wandering into the sharpening room. Working on the blade, she tested it periodically. She was a perfectionist when it came to blades and she knew this specimin was quite old and quite dull, yet it was the closet to her most trusted blade that she saw.
Finding it to her liking, she took out a piece of rag from her pocket and took out a hair pin. Dipping it in her blood, she drew a symbol and began writing her message. Tapping the symbol with a bloodied thumb, she watched as it vanished into air. Wiping her hand off on her pants, she sheathed her schimitar and adjusted the hilt around her waist. This felt as good as it was going to get.

*Trippy had amassed all off duty crew members on the main part of the deck, up wards of sixty of them, when she saw Izzy come up. She was going through basic sword drills with them, training them to defend themselves and fight is a battle when the time arose.*
"izzy, care to join us for drill exorcises? Perhaps help me train these dawgs to weild a sword properly if not handle it well?"

Instantly her sword was in her hand. "Of course I will."
She observed the group and she looked to Sage. "Do you want to split them or what?"

"Sure. ANd please, call me Trippy by the way."
*She turned to the mass gatehred before her.*
"Thoes of you who have weilded a blade before setting sail on this ship, go with Izzy here. The rest of you swaves will stay with me."
*She turned back to Izzy as about half the group seperated.*
"Warm them up and start on some multi-battle moves. Send them back if they look as though they need more basic training before attempting battle moves though, kay?"
*The girls gave her an "okay" and shouted to her lot of crew to follow her down the deck a little ways. Sage turned back to ehr set and continued wram up instructions.*

"Alright, chumps, listen up. This is the high seas, so when you fight, you have to fight. Chivalry is dead. It's deader than dead, so if you don't give it your all, I'm going to send you back. The point of weilding the swords in your hands is using them after all. Chivalry will kill you if you aren't thinking."
She surveyed the lot of them. Oh the things she could do. She remembered Trippy's instructions, but she wanted to go about this the way she had learned from her teacher. He turned out the finest, so naturally if she thought about how her teacher went about instructions, then maybe she could get these guys to do their best, whatever skill level that may be.
"Alright, we're going to aprtner up for a warm up," she announced. "Pick someone of about your same size. We're going to start htis out easy."
She watched as the group split up. Looking at a group of three, she grabbed a boy of probably twelve or slightly older over to her and said, "You're going to help me."
"Okay, now, we're doing this in a controlled invirontment, which means NO BLOOD."
"No blood? How's that work?" someone asked.
"Easy squeasy," Izzy replied and positioned her guinea pig accordingly. "When swinging at him," she took a large swipe, "through control, I won't hit him." The sword stopped inches from the boy's arm. "Now I know none of you have this control, so what I'm asking for here is to think. If you think about how to hit, you can think about how to block. Dont' think about how you won't spill your partners blood, but how you can keep them from spilling yours."
Izzy paused and then said, "Alright, begin. If you need anything, hollar."
Turning to the boy, she smirked. "You've only picked up your brother's sword haven't you?"
The boy looked slightly ashamed. Izzy only laughed amusedly. "Clever one you, going for the litteral command. I'll run you through some basics."
"But don't you - " the boy began but Izzy dragged him off to a pair that was getting dangerously close to irrupting into a true fight.
Sticking her schimitar in between their swords, she growled, "And what do you two think you're doing?"
The men were tall and looked like the types to have covert rivalry going. She had never noticed anything ill between the pair until this point.
"As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, remember that the objective here is not to kill each other. If I think I see either of you delivering a death blow again, I will send you to Trippy with a failing grade."
Then she removed her sword and turned back to the boy. "Let's talk basics, kid."
"You won't be distracted, right?" the boy asked.
"Feh. If I don't have something to keep me ocupied, I'll space out and they will kill each other," she glanced over at the pair.
"Okay, let's do this."

*Trippy went through basics with her group for at the next hour and a half, giving them a quick break here or there to get a drink. She then dismissed the, on the note that after lunch they would re assemble and work longer so rest and eat up. She had Izzy do the same. Then leaving her to her own devices, Trippy retreated to her cabin, going over maps, and starting the day's log.
The days passed all very much the same. Alexia's prophicy came to be, they ended up in a storm for a few days. When it finally recided the ocean was as calm as though nothing had happened, and the sky as blue.
Alexia returned on the second day after the storm had hit. She had already known abotu Izzy, and had already informed Zumi of who she was with. Zumi sent a thank you to Trippy, and an order to her sister to behave.
Alexia left adn thigns we as they had been. twice daily taining. Most of the men had graduated to the combat. Tirppy and Izzy did that, while one of the mates took over the basics training withte small handfull that just couldn't seem to grasp it. If Trip didn't already know what was in store for them, life like this would have been her heaven.*

"Okay, listen up," Izzy addressed the stragglers. She had asked to take the weakest group from Trippy. She wanted to try some of her master's techniques with them.
Her schimitar slung over her sholder, she spoke in a clear voice. "Sword fighting is like rocks and barbs - "
"Like what?" a perplexed galley worker asked.
"You know rocks and barbs," Izzy said again, and after recieving all blank looks she said. "I don't know what they call it in other worlds, but it's a game in ours where you hit a ball back and forth with these stick things...Bah.
"Anyway, sword fighting is essentially a game you can't lose," she decided to take this route.
"Hey, you, get up here," she pointed her sword at one of the taller men. He was about the size of her master, so she knew how to handle the examples. "Okay, see this guy here? He's got the wrong size sword, but he can compensate," she said. "The size of the sword is important, but we have to make due and this is how."
She began walking them through things and tried to keep her patience. Everyone was so slow going! They were all still messing up and most likely would die if they got into combat with anyone much more powerful than they. Pursing her lips, she hoped that when the time came to fight, their survival instincts would kick in and allow them all to win, but she knew they would lose a considerable number of the stragglers in a battle, such was death.

*Sage still hadn't forgotten Alexia's prophicy. Two days after the storm.....about three hours after Alexia had gone, Sage call her mates and Izzy into her cabin. There were five of them in all.*
"The lizard spotted land on the far horizon." she said looking at the other four people. "Thats where teh intelligence and Che are."
"What about Thyme and Vanessa?" asked her first mate.
"Did I not tell you? The night before Izzy joined us, Alexia was here also. They were killed again. She told me how earlier today. I guess Vannie had jacked a dagger off one of her captors, killed him with it, and took his blade. Armed with dagger and sword she went to free the other two. Che and Thyme never were good with swords, preferring to watch and never fight. I knew Vannie would lead their rebellion. She went for Thyme first, and in attempt to cut her bonds, was swarmed with more men than she's ever had to fight before. She couldn't take them all, and both she and Thyme, who was in the middle of it all, were killed, stabbed each with a through and though.
So now there is only Che. And the Intellegence, and the crew of the Insomnia. Thats still enough reason to go for them. Even if it were just for the Intelligence itself, it would be reason enough. That island is where they are. We'll be in battle tomorrow. Insomnia is ready. Izzy, are the men ready for hand ot hand? The rest you, have you done your jobs and made sure the crew know how to use Insomnia's artillary? I want zereo misteaks, is that clear? I want my sister back, if you have to sink Intelligence, so be it, but get my crew, and get my sister. I'll be here for a time tomorrow, but I'll be sneaking away before the battle. I want their leader's head. It'll his blood for spilling my blood. Afterwards, I'll rejoin you in the battle. Perhaps at seeing their's leader's head our foe's will give way and the battle will be ours. And with luck our crew will be revitalized and fight with more vigor knoing thier biggst threat is missing, and their own leader is back with his head. Izzy I want you to lead the men tomorrow after I leave."
"Mistress?" spoke one of the other mates "What is something should happen to you? How would we know?"
"Insomnia is infused with my own blood. If I die out there, her ebony wood hull will change from black as night to white as cloud. She will suddenly go from being made of ebony to Ivory."
*she showed them a cut on her hand, a 5 pointed star old, and barely there.*
"That cut is what give the Insomnia most of its magick. In its making, the wizard cut my palm five times, five different times for five different reasons. Infusing me into and with my ship. Now you know why I say Insomnia and I are apart of eachothers. She has a mind of her own, and she always knows where I am, and in what condition I am in. She like my big black shadow, and when I die, The Ebony Insomnia will be no more. She'll become The Ivory Dream. She'll set sail, on her own, out of the MontGomery Port once more and forever sail the oceans, a ghost randomly appearing to thoes who are worthy of her beauty. A peice of me, to live on forever....that is...what I've always been told is her purpose. As it is, that is how you'll know. And thats when you must find my body and my sister's and returne us all home...aboard Insomnia.
But Nothing will happen to me, so don't even think about it! Now then you dind't answer my questions about the crew. Answer them now."

Izzy listened from where she had an unlit stick in her mouth. She had promise her sister she wouldn't smoke, but she found instinctive comfort in at least holding it in her lips. It was simply the paper rolled without tobacco in it. She didn't care how she must look with it.
Taking it out with two fingers, she leaned against a nearby table and contemplated all she had heard. The situation was dire and she had less time than she thought to do what she had traveled around to do. Could she accomplish it on this ship?
Looking at Sage, she put the stick back in her mouth to hide her thoughtful frown. She had to start making preparations. She kicked herself for losing the things she needed, but she could make due. Nothing she had lost was irreplacible and as long as she had her own blood, everything would work out.

*her crew advoided eye contact with her, and no one answered her at all. This angered her to no end. The crew wasn't ready! But she wanted to hear them say it.*
"Answer me damn it!"
*She roared slamming her fist into the table.*
"Is the crew ready for this?"

"No one can be ready for what's about to happen," Izzy spoke. "If they say that they are, they're fools."
She took the stick out of her mouth again. "You know what's comming. Are you even ready for it? I know that I doubt I myself am." The thought of asking to speak freely never occured to Izzy. Even if she had been a commoner, she still would simply speak her mind without considering it could be dangerous or make her seem pompus. It was just who she was.
"I'm ready to fight. I don't know if I'm ready for what is comming for us, but I'm always ready to fight."

"Yes I am ready. I've been through worse than whats about to happen but thats not exactly what I'm asking. Theses men are too green to actually be ready for that. What I'm asking is are tehy ready enough to fight. In your own opinion, do they posses the ability to save their lives, or at least fight for them? I havn't been able to work with them since the storms hit. I've left them you the care of your four. Do they have enough ability to save their lives, and do at least some of them know how to use the ships artilairy? Thats what I want to know."
