With a happy grin, Irenath put out of her mind what Songbreeze had said and followed the awestricken Radcliff onto the firm soil of the island. It was as beautiful as she remembered, if possible perhaps even more so. Noticing where the new camper was headed, she looked about for Songbreeze, wondering where she, as a councilor, should go.
Her quick eyes caught a glimpse and she hurried over. "Since you've been here before, you must know the lay of the land. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction?" Irenath spoke frankly and didn't mind admitting that she had not a clue as to specific locations.

((Not sure if all this is all right with you guys... made her an important figure, just to get it moving a bit... hope that's alright? )) Songbreeze had gotten off quickly to help get the new kids in order, but when she heard Irenath's question she was quick to answer kindly, "Sure, the main information centre is just over there," she pointed with one hand at an old cabin on the edge of the woods, "but we could always use some help here, if you aren't too eager to find out which campers are which." A nice smile showed her fangs, but it was still friendly. Slowly she began to walk towards the center of the new campers as well as the old and raised a hand for silence. "Welcome to Camp Spellbond, all of you. My name is Songbreeze and I am going to be one of your councillors this year. Some of you may recognize me, and the rest of you will never forget me." She grinned openly at that, and then continued on, "The first few hours are going to be quite hectic, and I will need to ask for your patience and cooperation. The very first thing we are going to do is assign you cabins. As your names are called, find your stuff and then the cabin leader you have been assigned. They will lead you to your cabins after all the names have been called. Once you get to the cabins they will run you by the rules briefly, you can unpack and get acquainted with your cabin mates. Afterwards you will all return and we will have a welcoming feast." She looked about her at that, and smiled quietly, perhaps the feast would surprise the new campers, as it was quite better than the usual camp food. She began to walk from the group as all of the cabin leaders, older campers or councilors introduced themselves. When they were done she lifted a clipboard to her eyes and began to read off the names. Some of the campers were assigned to her cabin thus year as well, so it would be a busy time for her. Radcliffe was one of her campers and that surprised her, but she shrugged it off and merely nodded at him in acknowledgement. When all that was done and the campers were led off by their respective leaders, Songbreeze motionned to Irenath. "You are also assigned to my cabin, I do a lot of the work around here, and will need help supervising the campers, you're it." She winked and then turned to address the young people, "Come along now, we have much to do and little time in which to do it." She motionned them to follow her with a wave of her pale arm and began padding towards her assigned cabin.

*Radcliffe felt like a a lost student on the first day of school, only not as creeped out by it, although he was kinda creeped out by that fact itself. He held on to his backpack and lifted his duffle bag and followed Songbreeze.*
"Looks like a fun camp"
*He knew he sounded like a dork, but he was just trying to mke conversation and not look like he didn't belong. He then embarrasingly fell behind and continued to follow the counceller. While following, he noticed a small almost covered entrace to a walking path on the far side of the lake. It isn't something one would normally look and see, but for some reason it was familiar to him. Almost like a dream , but not a dream a memory of a dream. An uneasy feeling came over him, but was shortly lived, when he heard to voice of the group. He looked over at Irenath*
" I am sorry, I watch did she say?"

((whoops, sorry))
Irenath smiled at Songbreeze's get-to-work attitude, she knew she would get to like the concillor. Unused to walking in her human form, she quickly fell behind, and so she noticed Radcliffe's distraction and could answer his question. "Don't know which part you missed, so I'll just sum it up. Songbreeze and I are assigned to look after the cabin you are in and she is, at the moment, starting to lead us to said cabin. I think that's it."
She grinned at him, then noticed how far ahead the other campers were. "Come on, we'd better catch up. I'll take something if you like." Irenath, being a dragon, hadn't thought to bring anything with her and had in her possesion only the clothes she wore, which had seen better days fifty years ago.

It was not a long way to the cabin, but quite a bit further away than any of the others, it was a privilege to be assigned in Song breeze's cabin. Obviously, Breeze was the first to get there, and she held the door open for everyone else. When they were all inside, she shut the door and looked at the small group of about five campers. "There are two sections of this cabin, as you can probably see. One is for the girls," she nodded her head to the right passageway, "and one for the guys," the left, "This here is a place for you to study what you learn and sometimes practice. It is also where you can simply relax and talk. At no time are the guys or girls allowed into the opposite section of the cabin as their own. Other than that my word is law, as is the word of the other councillors. Now go and choose you beds."

*Radcliffe looked at the inside fo the cabin. It was just as he suspected. It had a very rustic and country cabin feel to it. Once in the front door, he stood in the common area, which consisted of two couchs and a chair with a wooden coffee table that stood on a tweeded overl throw rug in the center of them.
He also noticed that there was no tv. Sadness!...Once he moved passed the comon area, there were two rows of bunks, one on each side of the room. Three sets on each side, allowing 12 campers to a cabin. At the far end of the room in the center of the wall was a archway, that led into the bathroom. The cabin was good size and had everything that would be expected.
He watched as the others began picking thier beds. He walked over and threw his bag up on the top center bunk on the left side of the room. Looking at the individual underneath*
"I take it we are to be bunk mates"

They caught up in time to hear Songbreeze's edict and Irenath readily agreed. Sidling over to the lead councillor she grinned almost wickedly. "My word is law, huh? That might end up being amusing. Umm, you don't mid if I sleep outside do you?" The cabin was nice enough and well suited to a dragon that sleeps in a cave, but Irenath was not used to crowds, nor beds and she much preferred to sleep in her own form, which would not have fit all that comfortably inside the building.
"Oh, and what's on the menu here? So many questions I know, but I neglected to remember them when I volunteered myself, so I suppose you'll be the one I'm going to badger for the next few days." Her grin turned much more human as she spoke these words and she stretched, still trying to justify the limited range of this smaller body she had shaped for herself. It was not often a dragon condescended to walk among humans as one of them, but then again, Irenath was not an ordinary dragon and even those huge lizards got lonely every few hundred years.
