This is my ultimate favorite band ever.
So, just out of curiosity, has anyone even heard of this band?
Seems everywhere I go no one - well, occasionaly one or two - has ever heard of them.

Lol.
Well, I already knew you know who maiden is.
Wanna hear something wierd? I've been wearing my IM DoD concert shirt for about three hours and just realized I had it on. I have a habit of just grabbing cloths and not paying a ttention to what they are, or if they match...lol
I'd loose my head if it weren't attached.

I looked at the Board title thinking, "If there's one board to proclaim my residence in, it would be a music board."
As soon as I read the title of Iron Maiden, I clicked right away. You want someone who's heard of Iron Maiden? I'm your man. Out of sheer coincidence, I'm even wearing a Fear Of The Dark hoodie. The ONLY piece of clothing I have with any sort of markings or labels on it, and consequently, my most expensive piece of clothing.
As I was saying, Iron Maiden rules! They are my number one all time favourite band. \m/ >_< \m/
I could go on for days about them, but I'll keep the fanguyism (not a fanboy) to a minimum.
Favourite song; Afraid to Shoot Strangers Favourite Album; Brave New World. Reunions rock. Favourite member; tie between Bruce thingyinson (love his fashion sense) and Adrian Smith.

YES!! ANother member who's as much of an adict as me.
I LOVE MAIDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I'll agree with the most expensive clothing thing. I have 4 maidne shirts. The first one I got was at the Give Me Ed show I went to. Then for Christmas this year I got that shirt again(Came with the other one, my dad got it off ebay for me) and the saem shirt, but it's tydie. Then at the Dance of Death concert I got a shirt too. Hey, I traveled all the way from Ohio to New York City for one day just to see that concert. I definately got myself a shirt for that.
As for favorite song or album, I CAN"T CHOOSE!!! It's too hard.

Definitely addicted to them, but haven't been fortunate enough to go to one of their concerts. I live all the way in Canada, and don't have a lot of money, so travelling far is out of the question. *hugs Rock in Rio and Visons of the Beast DVD's* They'll have to do for now... I also like how the scripting here converted Bruce's last name.

Yeah, the Bruce's last name is funny. Fortunetly for me, my dad has been a huge Maiden fan also from about the beginning, so he's taken me to two of the concerts. Hence, why we traveled all the way to New York City to see them. For the first time since they started touring th U.S, they didn't go to Cleveland. Also, my dad is a member of the official board, mainly the trading section. He's one of the big traders too, well, not as big as the main five, but he's up there. SO, we have all kinds of bootlegs. Close to 1000 shows. Here's his list

Iron Maiden is the God of metal music. Plain and simple. They are definately one of the better bands out there (not counting anything before them). I love Maiden, although I only own one album sadly.

They began in 76. They have been through 3 singers...and a few other members... the signers are the msot I know about.
Orignally it was Paul. He left because he wasn't into touring so he and they gained Bruce. He left in in 93 to do some solo work. They got blaze. But Bruce returned in 99. They still tour and still put out new albums.
I know about the rest of the band, just can't remember half the names. Only know the names of those there now.
