If religion never became a factor in the social structure of man, how do you think our world have turned out?

I don't think we would have a civilized world. Dating back thousands of years, to the Romans, Greeks, and Muslims, they were civilizations brought together by the honoring of many gods or one god.

Well, religion is a factor that sets morals, usually, and that is what it has done for quite a few people. I have heard Christians tell me that without religion, it would be OK for people to go around raping, murdering, etcetera because they wouldn't have to worry about the consequences, although some people do that stuff anyway, it sets some morals for some people, and does the same with other religions.

Of course, there'd be a lot less religious wars, though. :P It does that, too. There is no actually saying about what the world would be like without religion, now that I think about it.

I think it would be a more civilized and peaceful world. I’m not saying it would be perfect, but I certainly think it would be much better than it is today.
